Amazing stuff.. Good to have vendors and manufacturers on board

@GoGreen: I have been trying to get myself an 18 inch M45 rear for my P180 from the past two months here in Bangalore. It's not in stock here, and when the fresh shipments will come in is a mystery. Can you help with some contacts that I could get in touch with for the same?

    • Yeah! Absolutely no stock anywhere in Bangalore and lots of guys just waiting to get their hands on them.

Perhaps, now that GoGreen is on board, things might change?

Tyre width 3 Inches, Sidewall height 100% = 3 inches, Rim size 18 inch.

          1 inch = 25.4 mm

          Therefore

          25.4 X 3 / 25.4 X 3 18

          76.2/76.2 18

          Rounded off 75/75 18.

          *************************

Convert 100/90 18 to other nomenclature

Since the sidewall height is 90 % in this size and it is considered 100 % in other nomenclature, there cannot be a conversion, but tyre size would be close to

3.93 Inches tyre width/ 3.53 Inches Sidewall height

          ( 1mm = .0393 inches )

No Wonder... such a precise answer... Will surely get in touch with you when my tyre requests for retirement...

                Thanks.
                I think I'll go with M45.

For Unicorn, what size is best? 3.00x18 or 3.25x18.
I checked with 3 local dealers for 3.25 and min price quoted was 1700.
Is it reasonable? Its with tube.

Any idea of good dealer in Pune?

                GoGreen, Any inputs?

                Cheers,

                        @ Mr GoGreen

If the conversion is not possible , how do we know which tyre with nomenclature 2 can be used instead of or replace a tyre with
                        nomenclature 1.

Does actually side wall height make any difference or we dont have to bother about it , just the tyre width is of importance .

3.25 18 M45 is an upsize which is ok for fitment without any modifications.
Price without tube inclusive of taxes is 1589. So Price with tube is ok.
