    • Anybody know of a set of good sticky tires for the R15, which is softer than or as soft as the stock zappers? Tubeless or tuded ones does not matter.

Please don't go to Metro Tyres!

            • I want to replace the rear tyre of my CBZ Exreme. I am currently using Vee Rubber 110/90/18 which is tubeless and has gone bald. I donot want to go with this tyre again as I am unhappy with its performance though I want to stick to tubeless only.

              Any suggestions?

And one more thing: Although I am against going for a fatter tyre but would it adversely affect the bike's performance if I go with a 120/80/18 rear?

              Thanks
              Vaibhav

Edit: I am currently living in CHD

              • IRC is lovely till the second it touches sand/small grit or slush. Atleast the 110/80 street tyre is.

My comparison is the lovely "make your own road" TVS Jumbo!

I had changed my Dio's tyre to the TVS Olivia too, its definitely not as good as the MRF tyre. But its not too bad either.

You will definitely have a hard time finding a MRF tyre now as the MRF factory has been shutdown indefinitely on strike!

                          • Thanks Guys ... Have decided to go with the vertigo sport 120/80, though still a bit skeptical as it might be an overkill for the bike ...

Kurt.....make sure you buy the tyre that has TUBLESS inscribed on it, else we have the same thing in tube types too.
its the ply rating that differs. Tubeless has 62, tubetype has 56.

120/80-18 may be huge for a normal bike but lets not forget... 120/80-18 is perhaps the only option that is readily available throughout. So if u want a tubeless..then Vertigo is the only option, and its worth it.

See my Avtaar pic...My zma is running on 120/80-18 Vrtigo Tubeless. Good tyre, good for on road and off road too. have clocked some 14k on it and still going strong.
