Re: Tyres
I have a pulsar 150(classix). I was changing the rear tyre (tube) . The original were mrf zappers but they turned bald and i had to replace them. Since i was novice back then didnt knew much about tyres , so went to a shop. The tyre shop sold me a ceat 3inch rear tyre(its been an year though around 7000km). Now i have seen many pulsars with 120 or 100 rear tyres, so i am thinking that would the thinner tyre do any harm . i have to get the front tyre replaced , so was thinking that i should move this tyre to front (that also being 18 but 2.75in) and get a new 100/80 tyre for rear. Is it advisable or should i continue with 3in at the rear. My riding speed is about 60kmph and its mostly on tarmac road

Re: Tyres
Has anyone seen the RE Himalayan rear tyre available in stores ?
Its the CEAT Gripp XL 120/90-17. I tried reaching out to the customer care for CEAT and they are quite clueless about this, even the distributors in Bangalore haven't heard of this tyre yet.
I know its a tad too early, but its been a few months now that the Himalayan has been released. The tyre should be available in stores, unless it is going to be exclusively sold as RE spares ?_________________________

Is it advisable to use 100/90 R18 tyre size when stock is 110/90 R18?
I am looking to replace the rear tyre of my RE classic 350. I have used Zapper tyre as well as Ceat Vertigo Rage previously (120/80 R18).
Can someone throw light on the issues that can possibly happen if I opt for 100/90 profile. I know that the height will reduce by 9mm. But other than that will it have any effect
on the ride quality, stability etc.
This tyre change is for the planned Leh ride on September with wife as pillion.

Knobby tires for what? There are plenty of online and offline stores nationwide that sell knobby tires. Where are you located?Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Re: Tyres
Hi,
Could somebody suggest a good pair of rubbers for the CBR250R, preferably with an off road advantage. I was all set to go in for the Michelin radials but their off roading capability is somewhat unreliable (read puncture prone). I plan to ride to Ladakh this September from Hyderabad and would like to go in for something that has a touring/ mild off roading capabilitySMOKIN' BARRELS
