I suggest your 110 or 120 at the max and do not go beyond that. Good 18" tyres with 150mm or 130mm is hard to find, 17" are has lot of options. You can go for CEAT Vertigo Rage 120/80 18 which has abundant grip, good cornering and a multipurpose tyre. But it's really hard to find this tyre. MRF meteor mogrip seems to be good but not great, which is also a multipurpose tyre.
I mainly need tyres for wet roads.

    Stock tyres are already 120/80-18"

Will it be alright if I opt for 130/80-18"

Yes, it is fine. But what I meant in my previous post was that it's hard to find tyres for 18" rims other than stock.

            Guys ,
My Honda activa's has done 23k on odo and rear tyre is completely worn-out , due for replacement but the front tyre still looks good
            . My question is
            - Is it advisable to swap the front tyre to rear and put the new tyre in front ?

I don't think that's a good idea. Why don't you replace the rear tyre only?

The tread pattern on an front tyre and rear is different.. not the best idea to swap them.

U can replace it with front , use new for front . But check for uneven wear for front tyre . By using front as rear tyre, it take care of the old manufactured tyre .

                  • Suggest Rear Tyre for Suzuki GS 150R

                    Hello Everyone,

I have suzuki GS 150R. I have driven the bike 38K till now with original MRF tyre. Now I wanted to change the rear tyre as I faced many puncture issues and rear tyre had 7-8 patches.
Below is the specification of Tyre.
Tyre Specification: 100/90 R18 (Alloy wheel)

Can you please suggest me is it ok to use tubeless tyre or Tubed type tyre for GS 150R which having Alloy wheel (the original tyre was MRF tubed Type tyre)?
And which tyre company is best to use?

                    Thank you in advance!

Thanks for your suggestions guys.:-) :-) Changed the rear tyre . front tyre has developed diff. Wear pattern so I have put new tyre at rear itself.

What is the average life of sports demon ? last i herd it was about 15k. Im looking to swap out my euro slips before the monsoons. I have a as200. Im confused between sports daemon mich street pilot radials and mrf fx for from and revz s(r15 rear) for the rear. alot of the tire dealers are trying to get me to take the mrf set for the duke 200 but that would be an up size for both from and rear tires. my use is 70 % city and 30 % highway. Im sort of contemplating on getting the mrf since they are alot cheaper , unsure how well they will hold up in the rains. the euro grips have been decent once they warm up and on dry tarmac, but I have had some scary moments with them. most tire guys here in grant road refuse to give me an exchange on my eurogrips saying they slip too much. they are 3 month old tires.
