Thank u for ur reply guys.

Really didn't get good reviews about the tires I mentioned above.

Firstly yes I'm having spoke rims on the cbz. As divya mentioned , can I purchase a TL tire and fit in a tube and then use it?? Will it cause any problems to the ride, handling etc?

Also can I upsize to like 110/90 r18?? Will it cause any problems to the rim??

    Inputs appreciated.
Happy to help any biker brother...and you too are welcome.

Now about the tyres yes you can use TL tyres with tube inside, it wont cause any problems. Yes you can upsize your tyre to 110/90, but only the MRF Q is available in that section what I have seen till now. If you are able to source it then b careful about the tyre not touching the chain cover. Have you tried Michellin? They are easily available now in 18" rims with TT. Try them..

Just a suggestion why don't you upgrade your spoke wheels to a used alloy rims, get them exchanged with Pulsar 17" rim, then sourcing tyres for those will be a child's play.

      Hi guys,
I recently got Pirelli Sport 'Dragons' (not demons) for my Duke 390, with specifications 140/70 R17 and 110/70 R17 . I am yet to find any review of the tyre online.
Apparently this tyre is launched only in Asia and Australia (not in Europe & USA). From what I feel, these tyres have less rolling friction than stock metzellers and it is a bit harder to put power down on these. That being said, I will return with an comprehensive review once I do a few thousand kilometers on them

        Hi guys,

I got my Pulsar 200ns in Nov 2014 with MRF stock tyres.
        • Front -> MRF Nylogrip Zapper FY2 100/80-R17
        • Rear -> MRF Nylogrip Zapper S 130/70-R17

Unfortunately, my front tyre got punctured recently. So, my question is how long does punctured tyres hold?

Also, I am thinking to replace the front tyre. What are the available good options for Pulsar 200 ns front?
Also, please let me know the places to purchase original tyres in central/east delhi.

Do you mean before repairing the puncture or after. I rode 150kms without realizing that my rear tyre had a puncture in it since we have tubeless tyres, you only realize it after you start loosing air. After it's been repaired it will go on, as long as you want the tyres to go. I think MRF's are good enough for the bike.
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

            After the puncture got fixed.

I ride my bike at a higher speed. And for longer rides on highways, I am skeptical about the front tyre. Does puncture(after it got fixed) affect tyre performance in anyway? Should I keep an eye out?

            And thanks for the suggestion.

                  Hi,

I own a Pulsar 200NS. The rear tyre needs a change as due to bad roads and wet conditions the rear has gone bad at a few sections just like deep cuts and i am not sure till when can will they work for me but i am not taking a chance and would like to change them asap.

The front is still ok and i can use it without any issues. Here I wanted to know if i should change both front and rear together or only changing the rear will work.

Please advise what best options do i have and what prices can i expect.

I live in Delhi (South). Are the new stock tyres from Bajaj good enough for daily commuting ? and does the Bajaj service center keep a stock of tyres ?

Really thanks to you buddy for your efforts. I finally changed my tire to MRF Zapper Q TL 100/90 R18 Rs.2550/- from "New Asian Tyres" Thane . I installed my previous tube in it and zip zap zoom. My wobbling problem also got solved after I got this tire. My bike used to wobble post 90kmph. Now its solved! Bike pulls effortlessly and doesn't lug anymore. The root cause was the tire I suppose.

Thank you all of you for your valuable time. Happy & Safe Riding to one n all :-)

                          Hi Aaron,

I am a bit confused regarding usage of a tube in a Tube less tyre. There is mixed opinion about this practice. If possible please post your experience once you have covered a fair amount of distance and in all kinds of road conditions. I am mulling over the possibility of going for the same 'Jugaad' for my scooter.

                          Cheers

Yea sure. I've almost done ~50kms with it. No wobbling at all. Cornering & handling are superb. I don't know but many tyre shop wala' s told me anyways that TL tires are very tuff upon that you put a tube in it it becomes further more tough. I don't know for far this is true. Loving the tire every moment. I'll update if there's anything worth sharing.

No no it doesn't had to toughness mate ..
The only con of this mod is that you have flat instantly rather leaking air slowly !
But major pro is if there any sort pf leakage from rim or slightly bent rim using tube further arrests all those leaks !
For example i had a bent my rim when my rear tyre gave up will coming from saputara.. the local puncture wala put in a tube and patched up the tyre and was able limp out of horrible roads until wani !
After that straight home (to nsk) !,
Tyre performed as it normally did before ..after a good 2 weeks got rim repaired and tyre changed !
When i went for changing tyre there wasn't a drop of single psi !
Even though rim is in shape now i am still using tube inside the tyre and haven't filled air after fitting the new tyre !
Haven't faced any puncture yet but a frnd of mine is having same setup in his hunk and he had almost immediately flat tyre despite tyre being new ! He is running on hard zapper q where as i am on soft revz-s ..
