Most tires on a Pulsar stick to MRF Zapper FS and C Y Q etc. One of a best economical setup I've experienced is the FS on the front and VYDE at the rear. Now considering both tire sizes are absolutely same for the 220 and 180. I'd suggest FS and VYDE at the rear.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Don`t go with Micheline 140/70/17 it is purely street/tarmac tyre,if you ride in dusty areas or on rough roads & want 140/70/17 check Dunlop Tuff Grip or Ceat or even a conti.Duke`s rear is rated @ 160 kmph which it hardly touches so no harm in trying these tyres.I think depending on your useage Dunlop Tuffgrip 140/70/17 will suit you better, the added benefit will be the bike will be bit overgeared due to change in rolling circumference.Good for the life of the engine & fe.

Hey guys thanks a lot for suggesting MICHEIN PILOT STREET RADIAL for my duke. They seem to jus give u a feel of 1 thng n that is grip grip grip n super grip,i really like the way it holds itself during corners, very confidence inspiring. Have done around 600 kms on them as of now n till now i just could not find a single flaw,no idea about wet grip as i havent experienced those conditions as yet but ya on normal dry roads its PERFECT. Pics to follow soon n ya thanks again

Bro, what would be other options for the front, when we exclude Zapper FS and Pilot sporty (for P220)?
It's a lot like nuts and bolts - if the rider's nuts, the ride - bolts!

You can get nylo zapper fy that comes stock in r15 but it's little low profiled. 90/80

I think I got my 4th puncture on my Duke 200's rear tyre, sheesh! That was just one side of the story, a previous puncture that I had plugged started leaking too :| .Do you guys know any solution to fix it? I've tried re-plugging it but a little bit of air seeps out. I want to use the tires for another 2000kms atleast, I have a trip to Kolhapur pending too next month.
@sanjana k mate, awaiting your pics and a small review please! I might shift to those Michelin's next time if they're good.

Hey guys as u know i have got the MICHELIN PILOT STREET RADIAL for my duke n i am very happy with it but it turned out to be quite expensive as it costed me 9700, so now the question is even my cousins duke needs a tire change asap but he is not ready to shell around 10K for tires,so i have suggested him MRF ZAPPER FY(R15 V1 stock tire) for the front n MRF REVZ C(Duke stock tire) for the rear. Wat do u all think as both these tires have different thread pattern. Main criteria is decent grip in normal n wet conditions n even in mud as we do quite a lot of off-roading to

Consider using the Yamaha R15s FY or FY1 both are excellent grippy tyres, though with slightly lower profile, but that wouldn't at all make a difference. And for the rear, the Contigo from the CBR250. Good combo.

There is this new tire called REVZ M, absolutely clueless on how it fares, but it has a slightly different thread compared to Revz C. Stock R15 tires are the best, both 1 and V2 and the rear tire is Revz S stock R15 V2 tyre, which is equally good too.

Thanks a lot for ur reply.Ok thn i will see to it that my cousin goes for MRF ZAPPER FY(R15 V1 stock tire)for front,as the V2 stock tire does not come in size of 110/70/17.For the rear, stock duke tires as i have heard ZAPPER S is very prone to punctures n is not even in stock duke size. So wud the combaination of ZAPPER FY for front n REVZ C for rear work as they both have different thread pattern?

I thnk it has been a week since i got the MICHELIN PILOT STREET RADIAL for my duke 200,initial impression was wohooo it grips lyk crazy but maybe i had that feeling bcoz my MRF had gone totally bald.So any new tire in comparison to my my previous rubber would hav felt wow.........as the days passed n as the excitement died i realized i was wrong. My suspension seems more stiff,i checked the air pressure it was perfect at 26 psi n even the flickability was sumwat lost n i also feel 140 seems thin n i thnk i should hav sticked to the stock size of 150
