I found Sirac Street better than stock MRF Tyre in my ZMR though my friend didn't like the same tyre in his hunk & went for Vyde after replacing it..I am getting more & more confused about my selection now as there aren't many options available in the market..if I won't find anything better than I might go for Sirac street's pair again..Is this the best one can get in 18" tyres??

      Hello Friends,

I need to change the stock MRF rubbers of my ZMR, I can't throw myself on those twisty corners using these rubbers nor it ignite any kind of confidence while cornering. I am not into hard core offroading but I need tyres which should gives better grips in slush roads, muddy patches etc, in short on and off road tyres.

unfortunately Michelin is not producing M45, then what would be the better replacement for current stock rubbers?

If it is mostly off road then I think ceat vertigo sport will do good. But they are never known for cornering neither they are very good city rider. You may try and procure sirac street 48 or ceat GRIPP they are available online in www.changemytyre.com

There are lots of tires in the market, all the same spec, and same hard and semi hard compound tires. Most users vouch by VYDE and Ceat series. You have Michelin Pilot Sporty for the front and Michelin Sirac, though avlblty might be a huge issue, as the production of both M45 and Sirac has been stopped. Unfortunately we have the Sirac Street, and the newly launched Michelin Pilot Road 2

Why not consider Ceat Gripp or the Vertigo series for the rear.

Stick with the stock if you're happy with the performance, or go for the R15 V2 Zapper FY1 for the front.

There's a dealer of Michelin at R A signal, Goregaon east. You can also check with them in future. I have a very good experience with them.

Yes brother exactly. When you take a left turn towards station just there at the turn before the lane there's a small Michelin dealer shop. I took a pair from them once. They are really good.

Thailand made tyres have been stopped long back, all you can get now from a year now is the Indian made. Thailand ones were the ones when they were introduced, but soon after several months they've started to manufacture it in India. So his piece is Made in India. With of course once exception would be old stock (if he's lucky)

even im looking for new tyres on my zmr. previously using stock in front and sirac street at rear.
now i have decided to go with the new zapper FQ in front but unable to decide with rear. i can go with the sirac street again as my experience was too good but there was one problem, being a tubed tyre, air pressure used to loose slightly more than the stock.
if im unable to find another rear dual purpose tubeless tyre (other than vertigo), i might end up buying sirac again.
