I have a 1996 KB 4S Champion which still runs very good and is also my daily commute to office. The front tyre needs replacement as the grip has reduced. The size is 2.75/18

Can somebody recommend a good tyre for my bike?

I recently changed the rear tire on my CBR250 to IRC Roadwinner. My question is - do I need to maintain the same tire pressure as I used to with the stock ContiGo or will it be different?

Pirelli's are not good for wet.
I have Pirelli Sport Demon Front & Rear.

I didn't wanted to post this but posting now.

I've done near 350km in a week now in full rain + after rain riding.
Just a bit of cautious riding + more attention on road + right amount of brakes & acceleration.
And Pirelli's proved to be awesome.!
                    But not trusted for sure.
Not for the price they come.

Get Dunlop or ceat if you want something other than MRF.

Contigo is also a option but its a bit hard compound than Dunlop and Ceat.
Michelin is also a option but I don't have any info about them.
Pirelli taught me to use what's made for Indian roads.

Ceat also have those big grip tyres (like Dirt bike tyres)
They are good for rains wet roads.
Dunlop comes in many variant of tyres threading.
                    Check before you buy.

And people here in xBhp also claimed MRF Vyde to be good.

Search on some pages back in this thread only and you can see

If anyone wants to go for a tyre with good wet grip.. take the tyre which has a wide, deep tread, especially at the centre where the tyre touches the wet road.

Get Dunlop or ceat if you want something other than MRF. YES

Michelin is also a option but I don't have any info about them. Michellin is the best if people are to go for it, at that price, you'll get a great tire but it's hard to find in some places and not everyone will have the correct fit, Sirac Street is the best tire for the rear and also it comes for front fitment too. . .
Pirelli taught me to use what's made for Indian roads. have to try those but the prize is I think way too expensive but a friend of mine has it on his 220 and he says it works like wonders. . .

Ceat also have those big grip tyres (like Dirt bike tyres) CEAT anyday is a good and wonderful tire and more people prefer CEAT as much as I have seen here. . .
They are good for rains wet roads.
Dunlop comes in many variant of tyres threading. Not used but friends who use those say it's a good tire, no much info about it. . .

Yes Zapper Vyde is indeed a great tire in wet condition as I am using it for now, has also got excellent cornering and has good wet traction, only disadvantage is it wears off quickly compared to other rubbers if you use it roughly or do burnouts quite often as it is made from a very soft rubber, so Zapper Q can be considered as an alternative for Zapper Vyde
                                Answers in bold,
In conclusion, if you want good tires for wet traction, try MRF Zapper Q/Vyde or the new Meteor, if you are looking for some in CEAT, Vertigo Sport with buttons is simply awesome, in Michellin the Sirac Street is the best tire and a very good quality too. . . Contigo tires are bit hard as read in many reviews, Dunlop won't comment as I have not used it. . .

                                hope this helps. . .

                                Cheers!!!

My answers are quoted above after @Sird's answers, just check it and BTW I have a friend who has a Pulsar 220 and he uses Michellin Pilot Sport for front and Pirelli Sport Demon for rear, he says that gives him excellent control and cornering is as smooth as slicing a butter. . . He is very happy with that, you can consider those two options but Pirelli is way too costly, so you can try out with Michellin Sirac Street or CEAT Vertigo, best tires with buttons, if you don't like buttons then go for Zapper Q/Vyde, excellent as I am using Zapper Vyde on my Unicorn. . . Hope it helped. . .

                                Cheers!!!
