Tushar, remove the stock tyre and keep it aside and go for sirac street 100/90 since you'll need both on and off road capable for ladakh trip. If you could get Sirac(imported) 120/80 section nothing like it.

                Hello Dear Bikers,

Its my time to get my tyres changed. I have an old P150 dtsi currently using tube tyres.

                My requirement :

                1. I want to switch to tubeless tyres this time.
                2. 80% of the time i ride only on the highway.
                3. I plan to go touring soon (maybe after 3-4 months).
                4. Should have a good wet grip. Rainy season is almost here

I guess these are my requirements for now.
I dont know much about upgrading the tyre size but i've heard that it kills the mileage of the bike and also the performance. So maybe the stock size is good.
Suggestions are most welcome & please advice me a good tyre.

                Many Thanks

Changed my Hero Xtreme's (DSS) rear tyre to Michelin SIRAC street. Size 100-90-18 tube type. I found they have much better grip than stock zapper Y. Zapper used to skid on dry road.
                      I want to know
                      1) What type of compound is used in SIRAC street? Soft or Hard ?
                      2) What lifespan I should expect ?
                      3) How is the wet surface grip ?

                        Guys, need help

Odo @ 21k and my RTR180's TVS REAR tyre has balded heavily! Finally

Can I know the best BUDGET options for a 17'' rim? Would spend a maximum of 2600Rs.

PS: I would like something that can last atleast 15-20k kms.
It's not about the RIDE. It's about HOW YOU ride :]

Hey guys avoid buying tyres from a h helmets in Andheri. The guy charges an unusually high markup price.
I would recommend the tyre shop right next to it.
Got psd 130/80-17 for 3.5k from the shop next to a h helmets.
110 was not in stock. So I had to buy from a h helmets who charged me 3.5k for 110/70-17.

Your present tyres are ok for at least 10k kms more. But you can get Pirelli Sports Demon 110/80-18(not sure if its 110/90-18 or 110/80-18 but either will do)Tubeless. All users apparently swear by it. I'm changing my Sirac Street to Pirelli before the rains too. The Siracs are horrible on wet surfaces. Dry grip is great though

Angel eyes are not projector but just the ring light you must have seen.
Costs near 400-500 for 2 angel eyes.

Demon eyes projector is a projector like P220's but with a outline with different color like red, blue, green.
                                Costs near 1800 - 2400rs.

And yes projectors helps the bulb to throw more light on road.

And please next time post the lighting problem in Lighting Thread.
