Its just about checking tyres every week. Thats it.
Lappu Bhaiya, ye Voye kya hai...But I am still confused about this 4.00 v. 100 section, can anyone link up to a proper chart..
There are basically three designations for identifying tyre types - Metric Designation, Inch Designation and Alphabetical designation. 100 comes under Metric designation while 4.00 comes under Inch designation. Alphabetical designation has something like MT/MR/MH where M is for motorcycle, T/H/R indicates tire width code etc.

Re: Tyres
This is my first post on this thread,i want to change the tyres of my pulsar 200 NS,i wanted to know if i can change them to the ones on the r15 v2,will it affect the handling of the bike because i think there is a slight differnce in size of the tyres,i was thinking of goin for the ktm tyres, but my friend told me that they skid on wet roads,so please advice me as to which tyres which be the best upgrade for my pulsar 200 NS both front and back,i dont want to ever skid again, the stock Eurogrip tyres are denying me the pleasure of enjoying the riding experience of such a wonderful bike...

I have 2005 Honda Unicorn. I am planning to put new tyres on it so was looking for 110 size tyre for rear, specifically MRF Zapper Q 110-90/18. But the MRF person was kind enough to ask me to verify whether 110 will fit Unicorn.
Kindly help.
Thanks a lot.

Re: Tyres
After using the Michelin Pilot Sporty 100/80-17 for about 4K kms, the place where this tyre FAIL is on wet corners. There is absolutely NO grip. Every other condition its OK. And its quite poor in slush as well._________________________

The Pilot Sport is running on the front and its absolutely not the tyre to have on wet corners, scary experience while it rained in Ooty last week._________________________

The 100/80 Pilot Sporty on the 220 is OK in dry, but scary in wet. Its more of a compound issue, and considering that Michelin's made in India are actually made by TVS, there is no wonder these tyres aren't that great in wet conditions._________________________

At least after looking at the distance between existing tire and chain cover, there seems to be a decent gap but still wanna confirm if anybody of you have seen any Unicorn with 110 section tire? I don't want to buy it and regret it later if it doesn't fit at all.
