I got a new tire for my bike r15v1's rear. I took the mrf zapper c 100/90-17 which comes as the stock tire on P150 and P135. I chose it because I was not gonna upsize and the stock tire wasn't too good on bad roads and weared out quite quickly. Got the stock one changed at 25k kms. This one should last me about 30-35k kms easily.
Added benefit is that since this is a harder compound, it will keep me off my leaning antics due to that phsychological factor.
1800rs down, my wallet is a lot lighter now.

if i decide to change my P200NS tyres to Pirelli Sports Demon, are there any dealers in pune who will give me discount on them in exchange of my new NS tyres? I am thinking to get them exchanged as soon as i get delivery of my bike.
If yes, please share the details of the dealers and also price of Pirelli Sports Demon(front and rear) and how much discount can i expect in exchange of these Eurogrip tyres?
Also today i enquired with few tyre dealers at Pune. Most of them don't have stock of Pirelli Sports Demon ( due to some ISI mark issue, import is stopped in India it seems) and the one which have old stocks is asking for 3800/- for rear and 2800/- for front..... also they are giving me very less discount for brand new NS tyres which is 1500/- for rear and 1000/- for front..
Can somebody confirm the prices for Pirelli SD???
Or any other better options (with prices) in 110/80 and 130/70???My ride....My SUNSHINE... :)

Hello friends,
My Pulsar 180 needs new pair of shoes.
Came across Michelin Pilot Sporty:
Front: 2.75-14 - INR 1700
Rear: 100/90-17 INR 2200
How good are these tyres? If anyone has used these can you share your experience? I'm looking at tires that would have good grip in wet conditions.
ThanksAll riders fall; some get back on, some don't, some can't...

I have three tyres in my list :
a) MRF Zapper C - 120/80-17" which comes on P220
b) R15 v1.0 rear tyre - 100/80-17"
c) Pulsar NS 200's rear tyre - 130/70-17"
I don't know the manufacturer of (c). I know (b) is a really good tyre but am looking for other two since (b) would be really thin and would destroy the looks. But if i dont get the others, i'll go for (b).
What do you guys suggest ?
why don't you try michelin pilot sporty 100*90*17.
i'm using it last 10k kms it's simply good in grip specially in wet grip.. and life also good my tyre is having almost 80% of thread on it even after 10k kms

its eurogrip on 200ns which is infact tvs tyres...you want to go with tvs tyre again? God save you man... btw go for zapper vyde 120/80-17... This is the perfect tire for rtr 180. Never fit zapper c in rtr180... Its not suited for the bike. Screws up the handling like anything...its my own exp with my friend's rtr. Then he changed to vyde... Its one of the best tire mrf makes...same compound as r15 tires
@faffy: as i told you man. Best option is r15 v2 rear and fz front... Why waste so much on pirellis...This Tail Is Japani Tail (spell as you like)
