I have heard about the Pirelli and Michelin too, are there any sizes available for the RTR 180? How do they rate in terms of Performance as compared with MRF Zapper?
Got Front Zapper FS-100/80/R17 for 1900 Rs
My friend also installed Vyde for his P220 for 2600 Rs.

      Store: Guardex Tyres (Chembur)

        Thanks RAK.

        Any suggesstions on other manufactures?

I checked the Pirelli website and they have not got an exact fit got 90/90-17 for the front.
For the rear tyre would the 110/90-18 M/C TL61 H SPORTD fit for 110/90-17?

        Any fits from Michelin?

        Thanks in Advance.

Sorry buddy. I didn't check for any other options as I was completely satisfied with the Zapper front. It lasted for 30K Kms without any issues. So it was the obvious choice for me.

My friend's P220 also got the tyres replaced from his Pirelli SD (old ones) to MRF (Zapper on front and VYDE on rear). He was frustrated and had inserted tube in the pirellis due to regular punctures. Also they gave up at around 13-14K Kms and so he also wanted to stick to MRF's.

          • Rear Tyre Upgrade for Hunk 2008

I nees to change the stock zapper y on my 2008 hunk. I've browsed through this thread and have found out most of you recommend michelin sirac sports and michelin pilot sports. Well which is the better one among these two also in terms of handling and control. I mostly drive on super smooth roads and love cornering. Some guy yesterday offered me ceat tyre for ~1500. Is ceat a good option ? Is there any difference in handlin of tube+tyre and tubeless tyre ? Also, do tell me, is it safe and ok to ride with the punctured and moderately damaged zapper y for ~10kms, again on super smooth roads . Any suggestions of tyre dealers in chandigarh. I'll be getting it changed today evening.

            • Just put on a set of the Michelin Sirac Street yesterday on my RX. Seem to have improved the ride so far in the 10 kms I must have ridden.

                          • Pirelli dealers in Mumbai

                            hi guys,

I am planning to change the rear tyre, and opted for pirelli 110/90-18 SD, but unable to find any dealer from kandivali till mira road. national eco fuel dosent have Pirelli SD 110/90 - 18 in stock, he has 100/90-18 in stock for Rs. 3200 and 120/90-18 for Rs. 3500. Does 120/90 - 18 will be a good option for Karizma ZMR rear tyre. and does 100/90-18 exist in Pirelli as on website it is not available..
Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

120/90-18 is heavy and you will have to cut the chain case or remove it to accommodate the tire.
