      • Is this tyre a better buy if compared to a stock zapper 90/90 17 TL for a P220 ?

100/80-17 (52S) Michelin | Pilot Sporty 47.00 Front | Motorcycle Tyres: TyreTec UK

It would be great if somebody could let me know about the pro n cons of using a tyre of 100/80 profile over a 90/90 profile.

firstly why do you want to change the tire? Its a good tyre...dont upsize the front...steering will become more heavy...and even if you want to upsize get zapper fx 100/80-17(fz front). The michelin pilot sporty you are taking about is a rear tyre... Moreover you can try zapper fy-1 90/80-17(r15 v2 front)... Gud tyre...but u will get negative speedo reading...though its just marginal

oops! Sorry.. Dnt upsize front tire. Steering will become marginally heavy. Btw having used a pilot sporty rear 100/90-18 thailand made, i can vouch for its grip... But simply no grip on sand

ya pilot sporty is not having grip in sand even in dry condition then think about the mud grip...
But it's simply superb in dry & wet clear surface grip....

Yes it is a good tyre. Kindly avoid using all capital letters because it is considered as shouting and people may not take it lightly here. Also, sms lingo is a strict no no. Since youre new, youre excused this one time

                          • Alternate Tyre Options For RTR 180

                            Hi,

I own a RTR 180 and am looking for options to replace my stock TVS tyres. The tyre specifications are as follows:

                            Front 90/90x17"
                            Rear 110/80x17"

I understand that the MRF Zapper C and Zapper Vyde are a good option (front + rear respectively). I would like to know if there are any available options in Pirelli (PSD) and Michelin?

If some one could help the size specifications for alternate tyre options which suit the Apache RTR 180 and what would be the approximate price in Mumbai?

I am looking to replace my stock tyres for a better grip on the road in wet surfaces and gravel as the stock slips a lot on them. I am interested in maintaing the current performance of the bike if not improve it.

Apart from the three tyre options discussed above are there any other options which give good performance and grip??

                            Thanks in advance
