    @Raj,
    I was looking at 100/80 Zapper was it's profile is a lot smaller and not as wide as the Pilot sporty , as I don't want the tire to scrape the swing arm. I will look for Zapper for a little longer else I'll settle for Michelin

    KK
    in my bike stock is 80*100 17 but i'm using michelin 100*90 17 only. it's not rubbing the swing-arm even there is a gab to upgrade to 120 profile.

      for rear Sirac Street 100/90-18 - 2200

      for front Pilot Sporty 3.00/17 universal size ie doesn't have proper
      grooves(but i have doubt whether it is same size to 90/90)
      quoted price 1800

      for front Pilot Sporty 2.75/17 exclusive front fitment does have 2
      grooves( but seriously down sizing and might affect handling)

      so rear is ok because we dont have much options in 100/80
      only confusion with front whether to go with 3.00/17 universal or 2.75/17 or scrap michellin and go for 90/90 from mrf ie zapper fs
      I have heard that the new Michelins which are made here in India(Pilot sporty and Sirac street) are not the same compound that use to be on the imported ones(M45 and Sirac)..so dont expect the grip levels that you have heard about the Michelins in the past..I would suggest you to stick to MRF Zapper FS 90/90-17''..this is a great tyre and lasts really long..i am using this on my Apache for the last 50K+ Kms would cost you around MRP 1600-1800 depending on your city..For the rear tyre I will suggest you the Zapper Q 100/90-18''..good tyre, good grip, lasts long..plus the extra 10mm tyre wall height will aide comfort and give you a slightly taller gearing, so you can expect slightly higher top speed..good luck for your purchase.

      Suggest me a good 120/70(is it a good upgrade?) tyre. Budget is not a big constraint but availability of all brands is.
      I would suggest you not to upsize the rear tyre..as it is, Karizma is a heavy bike, so upsizing will affect performance. Stick to 100/90-18 or 4.00*18 sizes only..I will suggest you Zapper FS 2.75*18 for front and Zapper Q 100/90-18'' for rear..Michelin M45 4.00*18 will give you a taller gearing because of the increased tyre wall height..but getting a M45 these days is very difficult and I heard Michelin has stopped selling M45..You might find any old stock if you are lucky..all the best for your purchase..

            I suggests you to get both of them changed at same time.

            NO,110 sized tire in rear is more than enough for Karizma,I had Michelin M45 4.0 * 18 in my ZMA.No mileage loss or anything,M45 is only 1KG more than the stock MRF Zapper.

            Rear height will increase by 1".

                I want to change stock tyre of my passion pro... to tubeless ... as i am staying in delhi.. but enable to find the same dimensions as similar to stock tyre ....

                For information currently rear tyre is 3.00 *18 & front is 2.75*18.

                Before giving suggestion please keep in mind that alloy wheel is 18" inc (dimension) & i know 100/90*18 is easily available.. the only things worried me about tyre up-gradation which will effect pick and mileage too.... Please throw some light on this...

                Please suggest for some good options.. and shop in delhi...

                Thanks
                For front you can use 80/100 zapper FS tubeless, which is same as 2.75 18 tyre.this tyre comes as stock tyre in cbz xtreme2011,ZMR and hunk 2011.
                Its almost impossible to get 3.00 18 tubeless for rear. But I heard from few dealers that CEAT produceds 3.00 18 tubeless rear tyre now a days with button tyre grip.I haven't seen it personally.

                  Is TL a must? You cant find very good TL tires in this size.Good tubed tyres wont get punctures easily.

                  For information currently rear tyre is 3.00 *18 & front is 2.75*18.
                  Get Sirac Street 3.0 * 18 for rear.This one:

                  and Sirac Street 2.75 for Front: 1500rs

                    R15 tyres(Zapper FY-1) are very grippy and are of soft compound..Worth every penny you spend on it..The 90/90-17 Zapper FS is also a fantastic tyre..great grip..lasts really really long...So if you want to try the Zapper FY-1, go ahead and try it..
                    There might be a slight speedo error because of the decreased tyre wall height..

                      O! M! God! these MRF tyres are the worst things around and a disgrace to the Tyre industry. I want to replace to a Ceat or even better brand. And last week the rear tyre got punctured with a 2 inch nail that destroyed the tubes. I replaced the Tube for 300 Rs and was a nightmare. No Mechanic wants to touch a new model Royal Enfield. They say the mechanics are different and Old bulls are very easy. I should have removed the tyres myself and replaced the tubes, the manual says it how. I finally got my Old friend Honda Mechanic to remove the tyres and replace the tube.

                      These MRF Tyre grips are the worst and make you feel you will skid and fall down any time. Sorry MRF, these dont work good for me.
                      ive read in the other forum abt tyres in the moderator's review of silver thunderbird.one senioe bulleteer suggests-
                      4) Regarding tyres, the best combo i've come across after almost 2 decades of riding a bullet...well:

                      Front: Perilli 100/90 MT (19 inch)
                      Rear: Mitchelin Scrac 120/90 (18 inch)

                      This is the combo am using on my bike right now, and trust me, it's brilliant.

                      You'll have to change your rear rim to 18 inch though, but the change is well worth it.}
                      im about to get a new thunderbird and i want to change tyres.plz suggest various options without changing the rim
