Thats decent life on a 220 if you are a ripper. Normal to sane riding, Zap C will last from 22-30k kms!

          Hope a am right!

From what i observed, Pulsar's rear tyre tend to wear out faster! Blame the torque and the ripping nature of the riders!

              • Finally could show u all the zapper q in 17 inch size

Hello everyone i was a bit busy since the last few weeks as i have sent the engine head for joelling and will get the ffe too. @rahulBarik- had requested me to post a pic of the zapper q 100-9-17 as everone was shocked to know about a zapper q with tht size. So im posting a video of the tyre here, plzz check it out

                http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fYAk-dajRI

BTW i got my bike's tyres changed along with alloy painting in white colour.

The tyres and prices are as follows
                1.Front

MRF ZAPPER FS 90-90-17 ...costed 1540

                2.Rear

                MRF ZAPPER S 100-80-17 ... costed 1720 (this is the r15 v1's rear tyre)

The rear looks a bit skiiny but is a pleasure to watch when it comes to the tyre grip. (everyone was asking me ki is type ka tyre to pehle kabi dekha nai hai , india ke bahar se mangaya hai kya...:P)

I hope the rear gives good grip, will be able to comment on it once i start riding it, as the head is still with joel

This zapper Q is a tubeless tyre , and yes i got the r15 rear tyre for 1720, but there's a long story behind it. I was quoted a rs 2100 for the tyre earlier, so i sent a mail to mrf to confirm the prices. the next morning i got a wake up call from a mrf official. He apologised for the inconvinience first and then said tht i will get it for a 1890rs. I was waiting at that time as i had no use of buying the tyres so early, then one day while roaming in the city i found a shop with Original MRF dealership and the second tag was wholesaler. I asked him abt the tyre and he said 1720 i was like and i bought it.

Here are a few pics, will upload the fitted ones once the bike is on the road.

It's looking cool as well as the price. I'm also searching a good rear tyre for my twister. R15 tyre is also in my list.

                            • What do you guys think about eurogrip tyres? I saw a discover 135 with a rear eurogrip 100-90 and was wondering about this as an option for my r15's rear tire. Any ideas?
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

A very good choice if you want to crash and burn. On par with TVS tyres.
