  • Hi,

Im looking for the best possible options to buy tyres for my CBZ Xtreme. The bike has just completed around 30k kms but i have had a lot of punctures on the rear tyre and a lot of tubes changed. It started in the very first week that i got the bike when a metal plate got stuck in the tyre and the tube was completely destroyed. And there is a puncture every few days(I can recall atleast 8 to 10 in the last 3 and half years). I plan to change both the tyres and go for tubeless this time. Can anyone let me know the prices for both front and rear tyre?

    Thanks in advance guys.

the shopkeeper is such an ass.....hahahaha.... How will the height change....? Achchcha you tell me....do u find any difference in 100% of 80 and 80% of 100...? both answers are 80.... Ri8....? Do the math yourself man.... And btw r15 rear tire costs max 2000...u may also get it for 1900. lol...XD XD
@md farooq: for your cbz extreame get michelin sirac street 100/90 x 18 for rear and michelin m62 2.75 x 10 for front.... And if u want crazy grip for the front tire then go for mrf nylogrip zapper fv 2.75 x 18... Its a super soft compound tire... And all are stock sizes...

      • @Rahulbarik: Can i keep the stock MRF nylogrip Zapper at the front and only change the rear to a Michelin? Any ideas how it would affect the bike?

changing the rear alone will not at all affect the bike.Michelin is superb tyre i'm also going to change my stock to Michelin. But Michelin is soft tyre comparing to MRF, so it'll get puncture easily according to your driving.

@Rahulbarik:Today i seen a twister with R15 rear tyre. But the tyre on both front stock & Rear r15 got fully weird there is no thread , but on odo that was only 12k+ kms.How it ll happen

maybe he used to do burnouts..... btw the r15 rear tire dont have much thread actually...its kind of a slick tire...
@ md farooq: no it wont harm at all...and sirac wont get punctured easily....it has huge buttons... U can keep the stock front....but if u want your bike to use full potential of the tires then change to front one too to zapper fv.... U'll get amazed by the grip....

            • Hey guys,

Where can I get PSD or Pilot Sporty for my RTR 160 in Cochin? The size I am looking for is 100/80-18 or 110/80-18.

I have already checked Auto Queen and New Bharath tyres. Is there any other places that I should check?

My current tyre(PSD) is in dangerous condition now, I need to change it fast.

              Thanks in advance.

Because the tyre seems to be worn out in the center only. I have no clue why even though i lean my bike a lot. And the tyre is just 10k old.
