      Also what would be effect of using a different size Zapper FY in the front?
      Any other options apart from MRF? What about Pirelli or Michelin? Will they be suitable for the Apache RTR 180?
      Hey i recently got a Zapper vyde 120/80 myself for my RTR 180! Its damn good bro, I dint feel any visual Reduction in top speed and all.. i feel this tyre is any day better than original tvs tyres!

      It is Very stable at high speeds.. Recently i was cruising in 110 and i felt it was some 90! Performance is still the same for me... and im not into racing! So for me, slight i.e very minute power drop wont matter(which i seriously dint recognise)...

      And check this u will get an idea on how it looks .. http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...tyres-432.html

      And about Pirelli , U have Sports Demon 120/90 or 120/70 i guess .. it is around 3700 INR.. This tyre looks too damn HOT ! yes they will suit the bike 200%!

The swingarm is too narrow....and zapper vyde fits perfectly...... And you cant fit 18 inch tires coz your rim size is 17... 18inch is rtr 160 rear rim.... And dont go above 100/80 for front,else it will have serious handling problem.... So front zapper fx 100/80 x 17 and rear zapper vyde 120/80 x 17.... Use this setup and you wont regret..... These two are are one of the stickiest tires mrf makes....... My friend have this same setup on his fz..... Works wonders....
          front zapper fx (fz frnt tire) Costs 1600

              I need something that isn't soft compound. Soft compound tires pick up nails like crazy and I'm sick of fixing up punctures.

              Plus I want a tire with something like 25k kms of life.

The tire is not at all bad....very nice balance of grip and life.... And if you ride slow and really want a very long life...then have a look at dunlop geo cruiser.... It wont grip as good...jst okay kind of grip but lasts really really long.... It will last you around 50k if you do sane riding... My friend have this tire on his cbz classic which has clocked around 90k with this tire...the tire dont grip now, but i can still see some thred left... Go for the zapper c 100/90 which you mentioned
              How much do the zapper c cost?

              What is the specs, cost of dunlop geo cruiser, I'm not really interested in this as I do ride fairly fast but 50k kms of life is tempting
              A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

                @parth

                Geo cruiser are good initially, after a while they get very hard and eventually crack up a bit. But they do last long, really long

                best bet, go for any Mrf 100/90 tyre, most of them are tubeless now. Zap C would be the best option.

                    Hmm second parameter is the thickness rite?.. so i guess since the width is same , it will fit... it will look little odd though! And i dont think Sirac looks good on RTR 180

                          who is that bl**dy f**ker that is quoting 7k for 140/70 p sd. Once i ordered it but due to waiting of 20 days i preffered to mrf zapper vyde for my fz. I was quoted rs 3100 july '11. At the moment i don't remember the name of the person but the place is somewhere near ezra street. The address i had got from pirelli's themselves via email after i contacted them.
