    Pilot sporty 100x90x17 - Rs.1950 to 2240
    pilot sporty 110x80x17 - Rs.2600
They also shown me one more type of Michelin that also looks same like pilot sporty that name is start In 'C' something like.
    Same profile 100x90x17 - Rs 1700-1800

    Which one i go for
the price is okay for the pilot sporty 100/90 x 17.... 1900 is okay.... Bt mind it its a very soft compound tire and very much prone to punctures.... Mine gets punctured easily.... Bt i heard once that pilot sporty in 110 is available bt never found one.... Its not at all available in kolkata... pilot sporty corners like crazy.....and the best part is its stability under hard panic braking and wet grip.... But i highly doubt the indian made pilot sporty will offer the same grip...mine is thailand made... And plz confirm the name of the tire that starts with c. And this is the pic of my pilot sporty 100/90 x 18...after running it for 8k kms.... 13-14 punctures till date tire is too soft.... Consider the r15 rear tire too for your bike

I'm mainly going to buy this tyre for grip specially wet grip bcz twister tyre is not at all giving grip at wet surface.I think that name is 'CONTINENTAL'
I think Michelin dint start manufacturing tires in India. All the tires are coming from abroad only

          • Need to replace my r15's rear tire. Not planning to upsize. So 100section rear would do it. I need the tire to be able to be resistant to punctures. The stock rear picked up i think 7-8 punctures over it's 16000 kms and now the punctures have started leaking.

I was thinking about stunner's rear tire. I think it is MRF Zapper C-100-80/90(I'm not sure). Can this be used as tubeless?

What are my other options? I want it to be hard and have a long life, like 25-30k kms. Should be resistant to punctures. I don't care much about leaning grip and can do without the extra grip on corners.
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Zapper's have no grip in wet,The best option will be the Pirelli SD 100/80-17 TL.IMO stay away from MRF. Pirelli can give you very good grip in both wet and dry,Then you have the Pirelli MT75,but it comes in 110/80-17 size i guess. Pirelli will last upto 15k.

Continental ContiGo tyres are stock tires of CBR250,They are bad in wet, otherwise no problems and they are also having punctures problems.

actually i meant to say made for india michelins... I read in anothr forum that michelins are making india specific tires with harder compound for longer life.... I am not sure though.. And the pilot sporty have enough wet grip... Bt mind it the tire will give good grip when the roads are super wet in heavy rainfall...bt ones the water starts to dry making the roads kind of muddy with sand and water, the tire looses its grip...bt even the r15 have the same problem... Otherwise the tire is full paisa vasool....
                  And stay away from continentals....

yes stunner's rear tire is 100/90 x 17 and its a tubeless tire. Its the same tire found in pulsar 135... I have seen r15s with this tire..... It will last u more than 25k....easily.... The tire is not at all bad....very nice balance of grip and life.... And if you ride slow and really want a very long life...then have a look at dunlop geo cruiser.... It wont grip as good...jst okay kind of grip but lasts really really long.... It will last you around 50k if you do sane riding... My friend have this tire on his cbz classic which has clocked around 90k with this tire...the tire dont grip now, but i can still see some thred left... Go for the zapper c 100/90 which you mentioned

Well i did not ask that old man (the probable Owner of the shop) about pilot sporty tyre, Neither i noticed Pilot Sporty there.
Well i bout my Sirac almost 6 months ago from him. He was having probably final stocks of Sirac (almost 6 tyres) and only one M45 that day. But he had a lots with M62. He said the next stock is due soon but with be costly. So, I bout my Sirac 3x18 with tube for Rs.1850/- from him.
He also had little stock of pirelli tyres. But those were little more costlier and he was too not an authorized dealer for pirelli he added.
