And you will lose performance with any of the grippier tyres, even R15's...
See the MRF/ Ceat's earlier I had on my P180 UG3 were medium compound. Yours is hard compound and that means lesser drag, and that's a big reason why the RTR raise hell compared to bikes with similar power...

You will lose performance for sure, although just a bit. But be prepared to get some serious lean angles and braking power, because RTR has a very capable chassis and braking, limited only by those tyres.
And no, you won't need to heat them up much. It grips right from the morning ride!
perfectly said.... Those r15 rear tires have insane lean angles crazy tire

my suggestion is go for the r15 rear tire.... The loss in performance bcoz of the softer compound will be compensated by the thinner tire and the lower profile. Its much thinner than your stock tire.... And the tire will have less contact area on the road than your stock tire which results in lower rolling resistance.

                            • Guys, can anyone owning TVS bikes tell me the grip of TVS Srichakra tyres when they're heated up properly by constant accelerating, braking, etc.?

I mean, can you lean on corners on a good road with heated & worked up TVS tyres fitted?

As I felt in my test ride of RTR 160 and 180 both with stock tyres, the contact patch was good due to lesser grooves BUT still the brand new tyre won't grip on a corner.
Less grooves on the tyre usually means its easier to heat them up.

(Frankly speaking, I'm thinking of getting TVS ones for torque/ performance reasons. I believe if I heat them up I might get enough grip?)
