guess you'd then have to cut a lot of swingarm. without touching the swingarm you can upsize to max 120 section.

For handling, the stock ones are still the best. place an order at ur MRF dealer and they can procure them for u.

@jet black: Lying in the parking lot with a flat tyre for a week, and the tyre is gone? Are you sure, repairing the flat won't do?

          • We saw these IRC's last sunday. We were shocked to hear the prices. The shopkeeper used to sell these tyre for 2.5k+ now he is selling it for 1.5k. so i am considering these tyres for my RTR now. Have zeroed on the rear tyre but am still confused with the front. I have 2 options

1.100/80 Shop guy says this one would be excellent. But this in no ways looks like a front tyre. but this will give a meaty look to my bike.

2.90/90 wild flare(saare tyre as we call it). Ravikiran has been using thiss and his reviews are excellent. This one is 1.5-1.6k he got it for 2.6k in blr am more inclined towards this.

Wanna know all ur opinion before i buy it.

            Here's a 130/70-17 1.6k rs

The first one seems to be a fit for the R15's rear but need some buttons on it. Else the stock MRF is paisa vasool.

                            • Anybody has any experience with the Dunlop Challenger? 3.00 18" is retailing for Rs. 720 without tube. That makes it the lowest quote I'v been given for the rear tyre of my Shogun.

Anybody has any idea about its dry and wet grip?

                              • Best alloy wheels and tyres for RTR??

                                Heyya guys!!

I own an apache RTR. I wish to change the alloy wheels and tyres on my ride. I wud like to know which wud be the best ones that I cud go for. I'm sure u do understand that I'd have to buy only a pair and not 2 diif ones as they wud look awkward.

FYI RTR front is 90/90-17" and i'd like to retain the same dimension. However the rear is 100/90-18" and I'd like to make it 100/90-17".

Cud you kindly suggest me the best combination i cud opt for??

Kindly keep in my that i'd like to retain everything else the same.... which means..........
                                - Front disc should be a fit.
                                - Speedo hub should be a fit.
                                - Rear sprockets of my choice shud be a straight fit.

                                The Man and The Machine!!
