TL,hard compound tires, wet grip will be less when compared to soft compound tires.

      Dunlop Geocruiser
Heard that it is good till 8k kms, after that it will start loosing grip!

      Mrf Zapper(Availability is an issue)
No wet grip,So don't recommend it!

      Which is recommended?
I select Sirac Street 100/90-18,TT,Medium compound tire, good grip in both wet and dry conditions.

ejjactly agree with you,but considering the lesser weight of the tyre, its not a performance killer as i often see razor popping wheelies like a jumping jack.

Surely it wont kill performance, the size is the problem!

              • MRF Zapper C

                Hi Guys,

Its been a long time since I posted on xBhp.

I just got the rear tyre of my Honda CB Twister replaced to a MRF Zapper-C 100/90-17. Definitely its given a better grip to the bike having said that the weight of the bike has increased and the mileage has decreased which was as predicted.

What I really wanted to know was I have filled nitrogen in my tyres and wanted to know what should be the ideal tyre pressure for my rear tyre which is a MRF Zapper-C 100/90-17?

                Your help is appreciated.

The same tyre pressure is the same as what you have been filling before. However, to know the exact, check the owner's manual. Hope this helps!

FYI..Nitrogen is relatively lighter that normal air and you'll feel cushioning effect over bumps, that's very normal.

u were using a stock tyre previously?
may be u can fill 35psi and come lower if u feel that the air pressure is more

Never felt any such effects.. The only change i experienced is that the pressure drop is very less.
