    I replaced the Ceat tube of my 3.00x18" Sirac Street yesterday only-was thinking I should have gone for the Tuff up tubes, but all the shops were closed&I was in an emergency.
    Should have considered it when I got the tyres itself.
    However, I don't think tuff up tubes will also offer resistance to nails!
    AFAIK, honda tuff up tubes comes in 3 sizes 2.75 , 3.00 and 100/90. Scootor, i dont know the size.

    @servo

    Same pinch.....me too had the same problem when i bought the M45 for the Zma. tried to get it again for the front tyre but i was in a hurry. so i did'nt get it. our splendor was lucky enough but it did'nt stay with us for long

    @kaka

    MRF manfactures tuff up tubes. not all of the mrf tubes are tuff up!

    @hyd ppl

    If you are looking to pick up R15 tyres, head to ramkote. they sell it for reasonable price. If you still dont get it there, then just E-mail MRF. They'll call you and help you out!

      • @ Aneesh@4Ghz- I ride mostly within city only... I searched extensively for the m45 but unable to get hold of it..so I guess PSD is what I'll have to do with for now...I'm ok with its life (I was told its only abt 10k kms, ur saying its 15k)...neways. is Rs 3600 a reasonable price to pay for the PSD?? And the tyre dealer said he'll reduce Rs 800 for my existing tyre, which is a stock zma tyre that has run 2.5k kms... so is this a reasonable deal?

          100 Rs. more is acceptable. Do the tubes come with some liquid inside?
          And how does it make the situation worse?

          Sarvajit - How much did the Sirac cost your friend ?
          He hasn't bought the tyre yet I guess-price is somewhere around 1700?

          are the dunlop and bridgestone tyres providing this size in india???
          I think Ninja's rear tyre specs are 130/70x17" so the best option is Pirelli Sports Demon, like other Ninja owners have gone for.
          I would not suggest the 140 tyre, though it looks more meaty.
          be careful if you are going for IRCs-there are a lot of fakes available.
          Someone had posted recently in the Ninja thread that he got IRCs at a reasonable rate from Probiking itself. That would be a great choice IMO, since they will have the equipment for tyre changing etc. also.

          I found the prices to be the same as in SVC. Do we need to bargain?

          I would recommend Michelins in stock sizes. Have a look at the site.

              I was initially quoted some 2000 for the rear. On asking him how he can charge more than showroom, he said best price 1700&1900!
              I'm trying for Pirelli MT75, else will just go to SVC&ask them to change it-the bike is all over the place now&feels punctured even just after filling nitrogen!
              I'm doubting a rim bend but there is no wobbling-only drifting. I guess that is due to uneven wear in the rear tyre.

                Replace the words "I have to" with "I choose to" and notice the difference in how you feel.

                    Yeah I also didn't kinda like the tread pattern of the rear tyre.
                    Yes, PSDs are best we have right now in our country.
                    I'm myself trying to source a Pirelli MT75 for my R15 rear. No luck in Hyd yet.
                    I suggest you try through friends in Bangalore/Pune. It will be easily available there.

                      PSD will be ok for city riding but 3600rs seems to be very high when compared to here,Here it available for 2950rs.

                      Yes,it has some kind of liquid inside,if a puncture is caused by nail,the liquid will helps to close the hole,if its a bigger hole,the liquid will be of no use and your tire will be completely filled with that liquid,then you have to clean the tire before replacing the tubes. One of my friend had experienced this,so he shifted from TuffUp to Normal tubes.

                      Karizma's stock tire is of no use,it will skid even at speeds of 25km/h and michelin is not available in 100/90-18.

                        I guess you can get Sportrs demon in Hyd. I remember seeing them at a shop opposite to Kiran TVS showroom at ranigunj. guess the shop name is Ashok tyres. Ramkote guy should have it too.

                          You wil get both within a total budget of 4k. If you go for TL front, you will have to invest an extra 100-150 bucks for a good TL stainless steel valve.
                          ‎Gautam..I completely missed reading your response to my query (no notification sent to my inbox, might have fiddled with my xbhp preferences), infact, I had posted similar queries on 'Michelin India motorcycle tyres', and a south Delhi based Michelin dealer's facebook page but didn't get any response there either.

                          Today went inquiring at BK tyres, Lajpat Nagar who deal in Michelin tyres.. got a 100/90 R18 Sirac Street tyre fitted at the rear with a MRF tube (Michelin doesn't manufacture tubes to match?!), and for the front which is a 17" rim, Michelin didn't have an option so went for a MRF Nylogrip Zapper FS 90/90 R17 with MRF tube.. the 2 tyres and 2 tubes collectively costed me RS.4200/- with installation ..Now I post this here for I have a vague feeling that I've been overcharged ...however vague a feeling..it somehow sticks and I'd like to know by how much??

                            I went to Ramkote last Saturday-he has PSD in larger size.
                            I will ask my friend to enquire at this Ashok tyres as well.
                            I can't stop riding R15 to office-no fun in going by F2. I prefer riding R15 even in this condition, though F2's tyres are quite new there are other problems like suspension, camchain etc.
                            Yesterday also I was playing with a ZMR guy on the way!

                                Pilot Sport is Strictly for Tarmac use. Sirac is a good option,but its too skinny for Karizma IMO
