If it was a big puncture and air is still leaking through it,Then i would sugges t you to replace it. BTW which tube are you using?

      I have a problem.
I ride a P220, and have changed the stock tyre after 24k kms to Pirelli Sport Demon.
Now after 10k kms on it, my rear tyre developed a puncture around 3 weeks back and sure was a big enough puncture(all the air was defalted). However the puncture guy somehow managed to seal the puncture.......but i noticed air was leaking reagularly. But since i was touring on weekends and my daily commute to office is 40 kms, thought this was normal.
Then two days back the tyre was totally defalted again. My brother took the bike to a puncture shop and the guy there said the puncture is too big to be sealed using the common tubeless puncture. He said the tyre will be useless unless we put a tube inside. Since there was no other option, i had to get a tube fitted inside the tyre. Now i am not comfortable with the fact that i have a tubeless tyre but no benefits of it.

Is there any other option to repair the puncture........
Take it to a shop with vulcanizing setup, usually rethreading and truck tyre works. They will patch the tyre. I have done it once. It was a big crack 1-2 inch wide cause by a broken piece of hacksaw blade some idiot threw in road. Clocked more than 10 k km after that without any issue.

I will be riding mostly in the city... I may do highway riding once in a blue moon.. I doubt any off road condition's .. unless u consider the fact the roads here in Mumbai during the monsoons have more creators than the moon.

Bro i would suggest you to get Michelin M45 4.0 @ rear and 3.0 * 18 on front.I am using it in my karizma and i am 100% satisfied with its performance both on roads and in wet conditions.

Wont the 4.0 be large for a bike like mine ? The stock being 100/90 which im guessing is 3.25

No,100/90-18 is equal to 3.50 * 18,4.0 * 18 means 110/90-18 ,and is only 1kg more than Stock 100/90-18 zapper,so no loss in performance and mileage.

                      • Would i have to remove the chain guard to fit a 110/90 aka 4.00 tyre?

I was planning for the same ,but there will be clearence issues with M45 4.0 on hunk especially around the swingarm and the rear fender, make it sure before buying it,so i shed off that plan and got Sirac Street 100/90-18 and got Dunlop tube 100/90-18.Tuffup tube comes in 3.0 * 18 size,so i wont suggest it for a 110/90-18 tire.
