Awesome bro,Sirac seems to be of big buttons. I love the M45 most.

Please note the close up pic of the rear tyre. Is anybody able to figure out the slight misalignment between the mudguard and the tyre? Do you guys think that there could be a tyre misalignment?

    Thanks.
Yeah,we cannot say the alignment of tires from mudguard position,In case of HH Hunk,Even new bikes comes with a slightly miss aligned mudguards,So check the bolts of the rear tire axle for same difference in both sides.

Also your chain seems to be dry, lube it using grease or engine oil.

Yes, I liked the tread pattern of Sirac street. Its a mixture of Medium and soft compound. The soft compound is on the edges and the medium compound in the middle of the tread. Got to know about this on michelin India website where this compound type and placement is depicted in an image.
Initially i had thought of getting the M45 but here in chennai, the roads get real bad and rough in the rainy season and lots of patch work on the roads that makes them even more rough and bumpy. So took a call for Sirac street over M45.

This misalignment was not there earlier. The misalignment happened after an accident. Anyways i'll check the tyre alignment with your suggestion. Will lube the chain also. Thanks.

Yes,it will be better than M45 for that riding condition. Anyways enjoy Riding.

        • Hey guys where can I get PIRELLI's SD in kolkata for my YAMAHA FZ-S & yep 1 more question are the Pirelli's really good for rough & tough conditions as at my place most of the roads are hole ridden & mostly covered with gravel & sand.

SORRY guys I know carrying 2 pillions is both illegal & unsafe but unfortunately I had to do that as there is no other way except that (as rickshaw walas may charge upto RS 100 for one way that means 200 per day and only for 25KM's as a whole, and as there is no other mode of transport therefore quite safe for riding like that & ya I use Helmets (all 3 of us) & I can hardly ride there more than 30 kmph due to gravelled road conditions) THEREFORE YOU GUYS CAN UNDERSTAND MY SITUATION VERY WELL

Pirelli's are hard when compared to stock FZ's tires, but i doubt whether they offer any grip in sand and gravel.

But now the tyre wala is saying nothing can be done other than replacing the tyre. So need urgent help & which tyre options are available and also will the stock ones can be again on my list as now I am totally frightened of those, & if other options are available which are they and of what size & company. I want good grip on all weather conditions, & should be quite tough (as sometimes I have to carry 2 pillions) & must be DURABLE and where can I get in KOLKATA.

At any kind of conditions riding with 2 pillions is dangerous and illegal
Please do a little bit of research in this forum before posting...I guess this thread might help you.

You can refer the above mentioned thread. Pirelli SDs are medium compund tyres and offer very good grip on dry and wet tarmac.

No Aneesh...they don't offer a great grip in Sand and gravel, they are not meant for offroading purpose.

                • well guys heard that Pirelli's SD 130/70 can also be fitted on my FZ like the Pirelli's SD 140/70 , so which one would be much better///// Got confused again

                  Now to the matter again,
visited a tyre showroom at burrabazar, kali krishna street, looked like a pretty big dealer, asked him for tyres for my FZ, replied that stock one ( MRF revz) can be delivered within an hour or 2 for RS 3450, but then after a little talk he said that the company had stooped production due to some technical issues & will be re-introduced after some R & D,& also told that there are some issues with the stock one, then I asked him about which is better Pirelli or MRF, he said Pirelli, On further talking he said that some NEW STOCK OF TYRES FOR FZ/FAZER WILL BE IN STOCK WITHIN 3-4 DAYS of the following companies:
                  Pirelli
                  Continental
                  Kings
                  & some other company I don't remembered
So opted for waiting as after what he said I don't wanna opt for MRF again, as you know my stock one only lasted for 1600 KM's

Visit the MRF exclusive showroom/workshop just opposite the Birla Planetarium . They are MRF authorised , have full range & best price as well as all mechanised tyre fitting systems . Soft compound tyres won't survive your conditions for long .

                          hi, guys
I'm planning to change the Tires of my Bike (Pulsar 150 dtsi ug2),
I'm confused I want to know which is a better choice between MRF and CEAT, I would like to upsize rear tyre, and I don't want expensive Tires because I'm going to sell out my bike in few months, so please suggest me good tyre which will have good grip on wet roads as well.
                          ..............
