Im from Pune. Got it for 1850 from laxmi Tyres, near Mangala talkies, corporation area. They are MRF dealers and its difficult to find this tyre anywhere else.
i couldn't understand the directions initially, so was doing circles around corporation bus stop. finally got it.
the tyre is really good one, and provides good grip and in wet conditions too. initially felt a bit heavy in midrange though between say, 50 to 65 kmph.
then, next day, saturday went for a drive to mumbai and back, was comfortably doing 80-90 kmpl in heaviest of rains.....i was faster than 99 % of vehicles on the highway in those rains, and that including fourwheelers. although it is not recomended to do these kind of speeds in such heaviest of rains, the bike was feeling much more surefooted and planted on road and braking was much more confidence inspiring. i just couldn't stop myself from enjoying a speed run.
the height of the tyre is a bit less then stock ones, so may be speedo error will increase
actually i went to purchase some riding gears from bachoo motors, but by the time i reached dadar, its 7:30 PM and bachoo motors was already closed. disappointed but with all the enjoyment i got in my ride, i dont mind.
one thing worried me, when i started my ride back, i suddenly felt that front tyre pressure has reduced, coz at two potholes, it hit hard on the rim, immediately stopped and checked the air pressure was down from 30 to 20. filled again but worried. luckily nothing happened for the rest of the ride back.
can anyone tell, what went wrong. why the tyre pressure reduced.
i couldn't click pics, so using the ones provided by xionite

here, i woud like to ask a question, i have tried searching on internet, but nothing much was available.
have you guys noticed that grooves on an R15 front tyres and dunlop zebra-y front tyres are in exactly opposite direction than those on MRF zapper FS.
which according to you guys provide better wet grip. i think it is the former one, MRF has got it all wrong on Zapper FSLast edited by princesirohi; 06-13-2011, 03:59 AM.

Any suggestions on any specific tyres to go ahead with??What are your riding conditions? like in highways on in city or any off roadings?

@xionite: any possible problems, you can guess. the mechanic who fitted the tyre examined it properly for any leaks before fitting by filling with air and dipping entire tyre and rim in water. so at the time of fitting, there wasn't any leak, today i checked the tyre visually, for any punctures, couldn't find any. will keep checking till saturday then will go to mechanic again. by that time, anything you can suggest. the leak is so minor that it looses only 10 pressure in 24 hiours.
