      the R15 front is 90/80/17
      i'm using only the front.

i was considering putting on a Pirelli SD on the rear...
but with the new R15 launch due soon...
i guess i'll wait for the new MRF Zapper S 120 section rear.

      here are the pics.

      • I am willing to buy Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler.
I want to make a few mods to the Dazzler after i buy it

I want to replace the 1) tyres, 2) wheels and 3) handle bar of the Dazzler and get something like Yamaha FZ16, is it possible?
And how much will it affect the performance and safety?

I was actually looking at Yamaha FZ16 but chose practicality over looks and now i am decided on the Dazzler as it has Much better mileage and also rear disk brakes, but still want some good features of FZ16 to be present in it.

You cant fit 140 on that alloys,Stock size is 110.If you wish u can fit 120 sized tires.120 is more than enough for Dazzler. Why you want bigger and bigger tires? For looks? That looks will definitely affect your mileage, acceleration ,sprocket life etc. Just think, even Ninja 250 with topspeed more than 170km/h comes with 130/70-17.

              • Apart from the looks won't there be better road grip and the bike would be firmly planted, added safety? How much will the mileage / accelration hit be approx?

Bro a good 110 or 120 sized tire can give you good grip than wider tires. Dont know what is the maximum size that we can put in Dazzler. may be a 3-5km drop i think..

Eg: Pirelli Sport Demon 110/70 - 17 or 120/70-17 for roads, not for off roading.

I don't know about the price. In a city like Pune, I don't think you would find any probs to find the tyre.

Here's the address and phone number of MRF Pune sales office:
                                Kohinoor Estate, Commercial House,
                                No: 1, Mumbai-pune Road, Khadki,
                                Pune- 411 003.
                                Std: 020,
                                Phone: 25811760/25812392/25810902.
                                Fax: 25813263.

Planet DSG is also in Pune right?

And yes, they will sell the tyres to non R15 users also.

                                Hope this helps.
