    140/70 - 17 Rs 3900
I'm going in for the 100/80 for the front and im still deciding on the rear.
But are these prices alright for the SDs ?
Price seems to be alright.Bought PSD 140/70-17 for 3800 here 10days back. Quoted 3850,bargained and got it for 3800.Click HERE to see pics of tire.Didn't heard of a duplicate Pirelli yet.

Buy a soft compound tire instead of hard compound one,it can offer you better grip than Zapper FS,May wear out little faster,Not so fast,If you consider Michelin M45 3.0 * 18,It will last up to 25-30K.
      M45 3.0 * 18 on my karizma.
Thanks Aneesh. I ask because a friend fitted 90/90-18 tyres on his Fiero and even though the handling did get a little harder the bike was much more stable at speed. Also, I thought the M45 was a rear tyre because its shoulders aren't as rounded as "typical" front tyres?

Michelin M45 tires 2.75,3.0 and 3.25 can be used as front and rear tires. They have to be put according the the directional arrows in the tires. But Michelin M45 4.0 is Strictly for Rear fitment.

Any pros or cons on handling ???
I am looking for a front tyre for my ZMA, changed the rear to Pirelli SD few months back. I am looking for some rubber which has good wet grip, am happy even if it runs for 10-15k kms

also I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me with how to make out a duplicate. As in apart from all the regular tire markings like week of manufacture , and other codes, is there something else I should be looking for ?
Can you please check if he has 110/90 - 18 ?
I got it for Rs 3500 before couple of months, one of my friend want the same tyre.

I cant find any cons,But there are pros.Braking power had increased, now braking is awesome when compared to my stock Zapper .Will surely lasts more than 25K.

                  Great!!! Thanks...

As I said I am not concerned about the tyre life but it should give good grip on the tarmac . I am relying on you and going for the M45, will sell it to you if it doesn't suits me

                              • Where can I source Pirelli tyres in secunderabad ? I'm looking to replace the stock tyres on my Apache RTR 160 hopefully with stock sizes.Would I get any money for my TVS tyres which have run 14000 kms?How do the Pirellis stack up against the Michelins?

Afterword - I went to Ramkoti today - met the sardarji that everyone on this thread talks about(Kamal Automobiles) and picked up the Michelin Sirac 100/90*18 for the rear.He informed me that my front stocks would run a few thousand kms more and that there was no need to change them.Price(including tube)-Rs.2100.He also had the Michelin M45 4.00*18 for Rs.2200.
Incidentally,I first went to Mulla Fida Ali Shaik Fakruddin in Siddiamber Bazar and he quoted 3200 for the M45!Absolutely ridiculous.Thankfully I smelt something fishy in his attitude.Thumbs down to him!

http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/members/gogreen.html - I hope Mr.Gaurav could do something about such unscrupulous dealers.
