The tyres luk gud but will it affect the performance of the bike ?
No, it wont affect your bikes performance,Its just 1Kg more than the stock MRF Zapper,So you dont loss your bikes performance,Don't worry about that.

Are these tyres broader than stock ones ?
Yes,The stock size is 100/90-18,Michelin M45 is 4.0,That's equal to 110 in size.

Will these tyres easily fit to the stock rim ?
Yes,It is a direct fit.ZMR can handle tires up-to 130 in size without any problem.

Do I have to cut or remove any part frm bike ?(i dont wanna do this)
You have to cut a little portion of the chain case to avoid rubbing the tire against the chain case,If you do not want to cut it,remove the chain case and fix the tires. You have to bend the linkage rod to fix tires bigger than the stock size

Any other tire as option (price is not big deal here )?
You have Pirelli 110/90-18,Sirac 120/80-18,Dunlop Monster ( These are commonly found in Karizma's),Don't know about others

what about PIRELLI or MICHELIN SIRAC ??
Pirelli wears out faster than than the M45,Pirelli lasts for 13-15K,Whereas the M45 lasts for 25-30K(Source: User Feedback),Also Pirelli is a heavier tire,it will decrease your mileage by 1 or 2kms for sure.Sirac is a tire which offers excellent grip in any riding conditions,But its the heaviest of all and you will have to sacrifice your mileage and it will need a complete chain cover removal to fix it.

I had no punctures till now.Is there particular size for tubes according to the size of tires? One of my friend told me to change the tubes, its danger to run it with stock tubes,What should i do now?

      • I have rode R15 for close to 16k kms. Filled up the both the Zapper Tyres with Nitrogen as I frequently use the Highways during Summer.

Lately I have found that the Front Tyre Pressure decreases within a week (Although checked for punctures n found none).

Can anyone put a light on the ongoing issue as I do not like to frequently fill up Nitrogen on a daily basis.

Did you checked around the nozzle for any holes or defects?

                  Michelin M45

                  MRF Meteor

I think there is a lot difference in the grip! Also MRF will be hard compound ,M45 is soft compound.

how can we use a tube type tyre as tubeless ??
it can be dangerous for riding and can cause serious damage to rims , correct me if I am wrong

Nothing will happen if the rim is good,If you are so feared,Use it with Tubes

I would suggest MRF METEOR... its Best for On/Off roads...
Highly recommended by one of fellow xbhpian who went to LEH with METEOR
M45 is kinda soft compund...good for city use i guess...

Also Sirac street 100*90*18 (tubeless) would be a good option if its available in Your place

hmm... coz i'll be using the Tyre's for Rally'ing & regular usage even....!!
If M45 is soft compund... i dont think it'll be suitable of Rallying/ Off-Roading, etc..

& I've searched nearly the whole Kolkata City... not getting Sirac Street 100/90 anywhere..
