4.0 is equal to 110.The grip is superb in roads and off-roads,had no experience driving in gravel.Grip is excellent even in wet and dry conditions,Go for it bro!

I am looking for broader tyres which will not affect the performance (pickup , top speed etc) and provide better grip than stock ones . Also I don't want to remove or cut any part to make the tyre fit in . is it possible ?

Plzz mention the tyre name and price for both F and R tyres

Go for Michelin M45 4.0 @ Rear and 3.0 @ Front. Will cost you 3500Rs for both of them!Don't know about its availability in your place

      • Want to change Rear tire of P220

Hey guys my p220 rear tire is now flat and i want to change it.
I need more grip as my commuting includes mountain and adventure riding,
the tire should not get easily punctured(the last one got 14).

Should i go for stock tires again or preferred any other.
If yes, provide some info and specs of it also.
Pick up a ride and rewrite yourself to a new Identity.....

What you need is a Michelin Sirac 120/90 R17. I am using that tyre as tubeless for the last 7k km with zero*touch wood* punctures on my P220. The other benefit of this tyre is that the bike leans more eagerly as compared to stock zapper. It is also reported that this tyre increases FE but I am yet to experience that. What it does do is give you 3% taller gearing. For other tyre options, check my signature links.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

it is the stock zapper tire come in p220, the tire runs 26k, and i think it can go 2k more.

Wow! Thats a lot of km with the Stock Zapper! Mine barely lasted 21k. Anyways, My bad.. you get 8% taller gearing(not 3%) with the Sirac. It costed me 2.8k back in December.

Few questions running in my mind

The tyres luk gud but will it affect the performance of the bike ?
Are these tyres broader than stock ones ?
Will these tyres easily fit to the stock rim ?
Do I have to cut or remove any part frm bike ?(i dont wanna do this)
Any other tyre as option (price is not a big deal here )?
what about PIRELLI or MICHELIN SIRAC ??
                    I don't brake rules , I merely test their elasticity ;)

                      2.8k is quite ok.
Btw i have seen another zapper on some p220s and p200s with different tread styling, similar to the one which comes in the advertisement of MRF zapper.
Hows that one, is it have more gripping or not.

Go for Michelin Sirac 120/80 * 17.... its the best available dual-purpose (On/Off Road tyre) as per my knowledge..

I am using the M45 3.0 in front,Gazelle was not available here so i don't know about that one.

My braking had increased with the M45 3.0 instead of the MRF Zapper 2.75,Feels more grip in front with great braking power Even the M45 3.0 looks same in size to Zapper 2.75.I didn't saw much difference in them except the thread pattern
