      hey Frnds...
I have a 2008 H.H. Karizma R and was using the stock MRF-Zappers set of tyres.
I am a motorsports enthusiast & also participate in Rally''s.
As i am going to use my Karizma for Rally''ing.. So, i want your suggestions about a good set of On/Off Road (dual purpose) tyres for my Bike. (18''inch rim)

it'll be of great help if you all kindly guide me..

      thanking you

            thanks buddy...
But.. is it available in India now.. (kolkata).??
            previously i used a 'sirac 120/90-17' in a pulsar for Rally'ing..
it is a really heavy tire... n affects the sprocket.

            So, will it be ideal..?

Even I stick to sane riding without wheelies or wheel spins The only time I remotely pushed my tyres was half a day at the chennai track. My rear tyre lasted me for around 12 - 13k but used to get frequently punctured and I finally got fed up and replaced it. The front lasted me around 16 - 17k and I found that it had a cut on the inside! Ive heard of people changing their tyres at around 10 - 11k.

As a comparison my Pulsar 150s tyres lasted me 25+ kms.

Sirac Street is different from Sirac, the latter is a pure offroading tyre while the former is launched keeping on&off-road requirements in mind. It is lighter&more agile, while still maintaining the button pattern. Soft compound used on the sides for better grip while cornering. Have a look at the website too, findTyre - motorcycle.michelin.in
Get it in the stock 100/90x18" size, it should suit your requirements fine.
As mentioned by velociraptor13, Ceat Vertigo is also a good offroading tyre, albeit heavier.
It is a recently launched tyre, so should be available everywhere.
Contact GoGreen, he will guide you to the shops in Kolkata.

Thanks for the information bro... i checked the site..!!
but... as i am heading for Rally'ing.. (which approx. consists of 60% tarmac & 40% Off-Roading)
dont you think.. a 110/90 tyre will be much suitable rather than a 100/90 tyre??

though.. i had personally experienced a 'michelin sirac 120/80' in a Pulsar. Its grip & off-roading qualities are really amazing.

they gave their distributor's number for pune....(020) 26332501.....ralson tyres

then they gave RF enterprises nanpeth........number (020) 26330245

RF enterprises say they only have MT75 model in 100/80R17 and there is no pirelli tyre of size 90/90R17 either in sports demon or MT75 line up........

guys ......can anyone help me ..........where can i get Pirelli front tyre in Sports Demon or MT75 range of size 90/90R17

India is not a condusive place for bikers.....

update: again called pirelli delhi H.O.
this time they gave me a number of Mr. Harsh........there guy........he says if it is not available and we place an order it may take 3 months........he will go to his office in ludhiana......and check if it is available or can be ordered quickly......he promised to call me back by tuesday.

fingers crossed........waiting anxiously for his reply.
guys, i had a detailed disscusion with Mr. harsh at pirelli delhi H.O., he has promised to bring MT75 90/80 R17 front tyre to india by june, i hope he delivers on his promise. Sport demons are not available in this size of front tyres. so the next best option for on road good wet and dry traction in MT75 by the month of june.

WOW!!! The rear tyre almost looks like the tyre on FZ because of the low profile.Do we get SD's in 110/80 17" profile???
