Where can I get this tyre in Bangalore and what should I be paying for this tyre ?
You can look for Dealer Tyre Empire / Sai Iyengar. Alternatively, you can call Michelin Account Manager, Mr. Nayaz at 9886498188 to locate a Dealer nearby.

        • Hello guys, I am a newbie on the tyre scene and would appreciate some help.

I have a Hyosung Aquila and the rear tyres are 130/80. These are MRFs and that is how the bike came in from the dealer when I bought the bike. However, the right size for the bike is 150/80 - 15 rim.

          Two questions.

          1) Is the 150/80, 15inch rim size tyre available in India with a good manufacturer. Michelin/Pirelli etc?

          2) I was thinking to upsize it to 170 or 180. In which case the only option I came up was on the MRF site. They have a 170/70 - 15. Are there any other serious options in the 170 - 180 size 15" rim size?

          Thanks!

          • Fitted Pirelli Sport Demon on Apache RTR

            I own Apache RTR 160

            Rear tyre: 100/80 18"

I fitted Pirelli Sport Demon 110/80 tubeless on rear wheel today. The guys at the shop told me 110/80 and tubeless will not affect but I want to know it here.

Will 110/80 tubeless tyre reduce fuel efficiency and will it fitt properly on the alloy since stock tyre is 100/80 with tube? Plz help

wont affect fuel efficiency much and it will fit properly witout much changes to the swing arm...
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

                      • Thanks, are these available in India. Pirelli doesn't seem to have an Indian site.

                          • best tyres for rtr 180

                            hello friends
i want to change both tyres of my rtr 180
For rear i am thinking about r15 100/80 or mrf vyde 120/80
and for front i want something which is suitable for stoppies
options are r15 80/90 or PSD 90/90 or PSD 100/90
i want to know is 100/90 is better then 90/90 in term of performing stoppies
and i want to know mrf dealer price for both r15 is 3100 is it good or expensive the dealer offer 700 bucks for my stock 6200km tvs tyres do i sell it
                            thanks in advance

                            • rtr 180

120/80 will be considerably heavier than 100/80

rtr should perform well with front 90/80 and 100/80 from mrf

but both are tarmac tyres, not off road.

3100 for both r15 tyres is good. where? Mumbai?
