i think its easier to puncture a tyre when its deflated first . you should try hammering a nail in tread rather than sidewall . no idea on the sound part , never tried it

        • nail would be a bad idea...try pin slow and smooth

              Thanks.

Pirelli and Michelin is not available where I live. There is only a MRF showroom and a dealer of CEAT and Dunlop.

dont just insert it...insert and remove...if its tubeless it will take time...and it wont make any noise...

minor glitch could include tearing the seat cover ?

why dont you just drill a hole with a drilling machine ??

                • hey Karizmatic,
you can try this, not sure if it serves your purpose.

Angle the pin/nail in front of the tyre such that its locked between the ground and tread of your tyre. Then when you take it off the stand (or move it a lil forward/backward as may be the case), the pin/nail is bound to puncture the tyre.

I have not tried this on 2 wheelers, but works 100% on cars. Tried and tested.

its tube type tyre, the karizma R it is.

drilling machine is a good option but again the noise factor.

tearing the seat cover wont make the bike to stop running

yup i knew this method, even tried on cars but IMO it is try and hit method, still i will try, coz the nail slips when the tyre moves backward/forward.

                    • is there a way to deflate tyres completely without puncturing them and without noise?

                        • @KARISMATIC - remember that a punctured tire will render the bike non ride-able.... if you are so eager to showcase the bike as problematic, why not put in a old spark plug (which was earlier replaced - assuming you have one lying around). This way, when you need, you can just put back the good one and go on...

                              • Help me out

hello my dear Xbhpians Namaste and Salam valekum

i have a R 15 which has clocked just 7000 kms in a 2yrs time, there's a small crack in the tyre and also had a lot of punctures the tread is fine i need to go to fill in the air every day, i dont know from where does the air leak from.

as of which i thought of going in fitting a tube in the tyre, i don't know how it would effect and also would like to know if again i can fit a tube less tyre after using a tube in it,

what tyre would be best suitable for rough roads always full of mud and sand no clean roads in my town? shall i go in for a mrf tube tyre?

                                plz help me brothers
