    Thanks for the quick respose

Hope Pilot Sporty grips well on wet road, quite scared of wet roads

Pilot Sporty is currently available in size 100/90 18. Unlike most tyres, it can be fitted as Tubeless or Tube Type. It is positioned to be a tyre for the city providing excellent Dry Grip, Wet Grip, Comfort and Cornering. MRP is 1940.

Sizes 3.00 17 and 100/90 17 will be coming up soon.

It will be listed on website soon after launching of new sizes.

        • Been using M45 3.00x18 from an year now. Just came back riding in the torrential rains. I must say, the grip level on wet is poor, very poor. Even planned braking at 40kmph was proving difficult. The rear tyre skids a lot

I guess its good for dry only.

A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

You can check out options other than Michelin, since we do not have an option yet for that.

The Sirac 100/90 18 is a tubeless tyre which we have phased out from the market, but you can find a few tyres here and there. This is different from the SIRAC Street 100/90 18 which we are about to bring to market. We also have 100/90 18 Pilot Sporty and 4.00 18 M45 which is 110 section width.

Thx Sir. Could you help me find a tubeless sirac in hyderabad. Which one do you suggest, sirac tubeless or sirac street?

My first choice is a tubeless tyre and i need a better girp in wet and gravel. have been using Vee rubber 110/80-18 tubeless am attaching a pic of it. its gr8 but i dont find enough grip in wet and gravel. Pilot sporty i guess has almost the same type of grooves so am thinking twice. I have a friend who has an RTR with 4.00 M45 at the rear. though the grip is gr8 i fnd it a bit heavy for the RTR. Pick up has taken a hit! so i dont prefer m45 for RTR. I do plan to go for it for my Zma though.

                          Pls advice!

This is how the tyre was whe it was new....a year back!

Agreed, the pattern looks similar, but Michelin launched it about 12 years back and Vee rubber launched it 3 years back. But that is not the main difference. The compound plays a significant part in determining tyre behaviour, whereas the pattern which is an external characteristic is more governed by aesthetics. 100/90 18 Pilot Sporty is the right tyre. But ofcourse you can try and locate the 100/90 18 Sirac, though it would be difficult to spot. The grip should be good inboth the cases for both dry and wet surfaces.

The shopkeeper said no front tyre(2.75X18) is available in the market from michilen is this true?
