    • The stock RX tyre sizes are as follows:
      Front: 2.50*18"
      Rear: 2.75*18"

You can upsize to 2.75&3.00*18" respectively with the same rim, but I would recommend you upsize only the rear.

          • Need help regarding tyres for Pulsar 150 DTSi

            Hello friends,
I own a new Pulsar DTSi UG4 (2010). I got Eurogrip tires as stock-fitment. I am a newbee regarding bikes . The problem is that i dont like my tires because they skid a lot and skid very easily !!!!!! I want them changed asap!!!!!
Please suggest me the best tyre-brand for this purpose whether tubeless or tubed, i am thinking of MRF Zapper-C, is it a good choice? Or is there more better options available ?
Please be quick in your responses as i want them changed!!!!!!

            Thanks.

            • jsut a small Q.
with your current tyres, are you keeping the air pressure perfect? I guess it should be around 25 for front and 29 for back..

if it is still skidding make couple of ps less.. say front 24ps, rear 27ps.
Try this.. may be.. its not fault of tyres only..

the zapper on ur front is quite good for stoppies...try pumping the disc before u actually jam it...never lock it...it obviously will skid...

u could lower the psi by 2 units...nothing less..

                • Tyres for hunk

Hey guys i was planning to change the rear tyre on my hunk to something bigger. I understand i'll have to do some mods(remove chain cover.etc.). can anyone guide me through this? An estimate of the whole thing would be appreciated. Thanx
                  The purpose of biking -
100cc- to get from point A to point B
                  125cc- to get there fast
150cc- to have some fun while getting there
200+cc- to start from point A and forget when point B passed by

It's not the ride but the rider that matters!

                  • Hi guys,

Wanted to upgrade my 2007 Unicorn's (the one with alloys. UG3?) rear tyre (stock 100/90-18). I've decided to go for Michelin M45. Needed to know which is the right size? 3.25x18 or 4x18?

3.25 18 will be closer to 90 Section width. 4.0 18 will be 110 section width. 100/90 18 Pilot Sporty is another option.

                      • Tyre Change for my P200

                        Hi fellas,

                        Just joined the forum.

Need guidance on all options for my P200 (2007 edition) Tyres available presently and most importantly where I may buy them - specifically in and around West Delhi.

I would especially like to know options available with front tyres (for better and longer lasting stopping power) as the default 90/90/17 MRF Tubeless is a scary skidder, considering my weight coupled with the Bike's (No laughs please!), and more so with even minute sand / dust (on the dry) and loose gravel (on the wet) Delhi Roads.

My driving currently consists mostly of commuting 50 kms every day in stop-start traffic. I have done 21k+ so far.

                        Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the inputs. Picked up Michelin M45 4.00x18 for the rear and 2.75x18 for the front. Couldn't find the Pilot Sporty.

4.00x18 is probably the max the bike can take without any mods. It's a tight fit but no issues so far. No significant change in performance, but the grip is just incredible! It's confidence inspiring.

For the RTR, 4.00 18 M45 is also a good option. It is equivalent to 110 section width. It is a Tube type tyre. 100/90 18 Pilot Sporty is also a good option and is Tubeless.
