        • Front tubeless for pulsar 180 ug3

          Hi Guys,

I have CEAT vertigo sports 100/90 - 17 tubeless at rear. I want to know if I fit 90/90 -17 tubeless at front (currently 2.75 X 17 tube type stock ) will it create any kind of

          handling issues ?
          Drop in milage ?
          Wobling front ?

          Also theres 70/100-17 and 80/100-17 front tubeless available on Honda CBF stuner..carb and fuel injection version...so which will suit for pulsar (2.75x 17 stock ) 180 UG3 90/90 -17 or 80/100-17 or 70/100-17 ??

Michelin is launching the SIRAC Street Tyres. This will come in sizes 2.75 18 Front, 3.00 18 Rear and 100/90 18 Rear. SIRAC Street is specially engineered for Indian conditions. The tyre provides the same levels of grip that the legendary SIRAC is famous for and doesn't slow down the acceleration as it is meant for 100-250 cc bikes as against 600 cc and above for the SIRAC tyre. It also focuses on Mileage which is an important consideration for the buyer in India in addition to Dry Grip, Wet Grip, Cornering and Comfort.

Have anyone used m45 as front tyre? any problem in ride quality and cornering?

                  @GoGreen

As per your suggestion I fitted my yamaha libero rear wheel with M45 3.25X18 which i got for Rs 1500/- with tube from "Mukkam Tyres"(the michellin dealer in my city calicut, kerala), but they dont have M35 and havnt heard about it,another michellin dealer "BAL TYRES" said the same. Both these dealers have only m45 in different sizes.

So i may have to go with M45 in front,
is m45 as good as m35 for cornering and WET grip when used as front tyre?
                  What about rolling resistance?

                      • What is the best tiers for p220 dtsi available.

                        Hi..!

I have been riding p220 dtsi n going for long rides since last november 09.
Though the bike feels great on performance aspect...it never inspired confidence!!
I blame it those stock Eurogrip tiers.
My choice is for on-off road sticky tiers. Heard about Michelin's extraordinary performance n was looking for sirac for the rear.
but tiers have different sizes. i tried to find out on Michelin's website for same size but no avail. the tier is taller on side wall.

                        Stock size- R 120/80-17, F 90/90-17
                        Micheline Sirac - R 120/90-17

Is it a good option to go for?
will it affect the handling for the stake of stickiness?
What's the alternative for the front?

or plz sugesst any good option to go for!!
I staying in santiniketan, 170km away from kolkata.

I really need to have new set of tyers asap!
                        Waiting for ur suggestions....

                          • Changing rear tyre on Gladiator

                            Hello folks,

I want to replace my bike's rear tyre (treads have got lost and its almost bald!!) with a wider one and seek inputs from you.

The stock rear tyre is 3.00 - 18. How do we get to know the width and profile (tyre side height) from this info? What does 3 signify here?

Can I fit in a 100/90x18 Zapper or 100/80x18 on to the rear? Which one would be good? Will it affect the performance/ handling/ mileage?

                            Please suggest !!
                            My bike details:
                            DLX, bought July/2006
                            Kms run: 14,500

                            Responses would be highly appreciated.

                            Thanks in advance!

                            Ride safe!

                            • hey guys...

i am planning rear tyre change for my bike just ran for 8500 kms...as the rear tyre is worn out due to burnouts and skids..i am planning for MICHELLIN SIRAC on my p220 fi.
plz tell me the price and where to get it in delhi...
and the size??i saw different sizes here in this thread and confused.
i read somewhere that sirac touches swingarm...??is it true?
also which tyre would be best suitable with it in front...

                              thnx...
                              waiting..

size is 120/90 .price 2750 without tube. its a tubed tyre but many people are running it as tubeless.

sirac 120/90 is a direct fit on 220,no touching of swingarm reported in 220.

sirac has a higher profile than the stock 220 rear so it makes the 90/90 front tyre look very skiny in comparision. a lot of guys are using the FZ's 100/80 front tyre with it or you can also opt for 100/80 from IRC, vee rubber which you can find in Karol bagh( saw this tyre @ globe tyre ,near chopra helmet shop on ARYA samaj road)
