hi,,i have fitted same tyre on my 2007 model pulsar..but to fit that tyre i removed my chain covers, saree guard..because those things touch the tyre..but still there was another problem..when any one sit on back and bike goes through a hump the saree guard nut is still touching the tyre..becz that nut is permanently fitted on frame..i have adjusted the shocks.still no way..

For rear you get 100/90-18 & it should cost in Between 1200-1300 & for front never ever go for Ceat Vertigo as this is buttons tyres the ride will become bumpy & at high speeds thier will be wobbling ( My personal experience of 15k kms with front ceat vertigo tyre)

I Believe you can keep stock for front else go for Dunlop Mystery
          Hi Abhilash,

I am looking for a CEAT VERTIGO rear tire for my P200. Please help me here to select the correct model.

          - Are you speaking about the VERTIGO SPORT model with buttons type tread?
          - How is your experience with this rear tire in Highway and Wet conditions?
          - Will you be able to comment on the VERTIGO RAGE model for offroad capabilities / Ladakh ride; This is assuming fresh tire

          Thanks,
          Stalin

yes I am talking about Ceat vertigo sports with button type tread.

I have had very good experience in this tyre & this tyre performs decently on all the surfaces & I suggest you try this tyre for the ladakh since the button type helps you in good traction in Uneven surfaces & also the tyre is somewhat hard compound which helps you stay away from punctures to an extent.

my tyre has run 20k kms & I haven't even had a single puncture all this time touchwood.

Reg Vertigo rage, I am really sorry but I do not have Info on this since i haven't used it, wait for others to reply on this.

if you are not able to get Ceat Vertigo sports, you may try getting MRF Meteor, Dunlop Monster or Michelin Sirac all this are Dual purpose tires & works wonderfully..

            • Are MRF tires that good over their Indian counterparts or they charge a premium for their marketing?

Just for the record, bought Dunlop Mystery 2.75 x 18 front for Rs 780 only.

Same size MRF was available for around Rs. 1200.

its the brand value man. The brand sales. The quality should be more or less similar to other indian companies. By the way please post some pics of the tyre. Also is it a dual purpose tyre? Raj

3.00 is 76mm ( 1 Inch is 2.54 Cms which turns out to be 7.62Cms which becomes 76mm)

                      Hope this helps..

But I dont see any problem using 90/90-18 in place of 3.00-18
