Michelins are out of my budget as the trip on the whole will be costing me a bomb.something economical and good.

ZMR tyres- are they available now, if so how much do they cost?
Get yourself the front tyre of ZMR and 120/80 Ceat Vertigo Sports/Rage(We got it for just 1450/-)
Even though its 120, its seems and feels much lower..
Also you can start riding on them a while before doing Leh, so that you get used to it.. Sports need a bit of wear out to give its actual potential.. It has got good life too..

      I have P150 UG2
I need tubeless tyres, front and rear
I don't need soft compound, so R15 tyres go out of the window.
      I don't wanna go beyond
      Front : 90/90 R17
      Rear : 110/90(or 80) R17

      Most important is TUBELESS
No offroading ( if you don't count bad road in rural areas)

      stock tubed
      front : 2.75 R17
      rear : 100/90 R17

As I see my options are limited to P220'styres but rear tyre is 120/80R17 which a bit wider than my needs.

Any tubeless tyres, in R17, by Dunlop, Continental, IRC, ceat etc?

I'm from Mumbai (Thane). So if possible suggest a shop too.

      I am from pune. P150/ UG3.

      switched to
      Rear: Zapper C.. 100/90 tubeless.. 1200 Rs.
      front(size upgrade by 1 size): 90/90(equal to 3.0).. zapper Fs.. tubeless.. 1000Rs.

am pretty happy with it.. not anything awesome about grip etc.. but better than stock ones..

above mentioned is the real price.. but shopkeepers charge 300-400 rs. extra premum over that.. i don't know why..

also a 50Rs. tubeless valve need to be added in each tyre, if switching for the first time..

            • I have been hunting for 90/90 17inch for my 200 for past 2 months. Can anybody let me know about the availability in Bangalore? I haven't done justice to my Sirac on the rear because of bad rubber up front. There is availability of Tube Type but Tubeless is almost impossible. Help me out.

                            Damn .. missed it. .

Bought a 4.00 M45 on the 17th for my Unicorn. I got no sticker.

@Gaurav: Decided to go ahead and buy a 4.00 M45 finally. I didn't even had to remove my chain guard. I paid 1858 + 50 bucks for Nitrogen + fitting. I was initially quoted 2.2k inclusive of tube and 2k without the tube.

When i mentioned your name the rate dropped to '1858' , the exact amount you put up earlier in this thread. Also he told me about a price increase in the next week for all Michelin Tyres. How much would a 2.75 M45 cost then ?

I bought my tyre from Siremull Hirachand 'Tyre Store' on Greams Road, Chennai.

Since you bought the tyre after 15th Feb, you are entitled to get the sticker. Please check with me mid next week and I will advise you how to obtain the Michelin sticker for the bike.

                                2.75 18 M35 / M45 / M62 - 1255-60 inclusive of tax, not including cost of tube.
