At the Auto expo, one stall right next to the Harley pavilion had Pirelli tyres for display, from the 190 section SBK ones right down to the 100 section front ones.
I enquired about the rates for a Pirelli Sport Demon 130/70-17 and another 100/??-17 for my 200. the rear itself was quoted at 3500-4000 and the front at 500 cheaper.
I will use my stock MRF's till they become slicks200 | 300 | 1200 BOXER

I am not sure about the availability of this size but you can check out. New stocks for this will come in in 1.5 months. Please check with Dealer. I know that it is available in Gurgaon, Bhuvaneshvar and Ahmedabad.
If i were to switch to Michelin. What would be the closest to stock options for me ? And i don't want to go for anything with lesser width than stock.
You've mentioned that the M45 3.25 rear for the Unicorn woukd be an upsize and you recommend a 3.00 18. But correct me if i'm wrong 3.25 x 25.4mm is 82.55 which is still lower than the stock 100mm width.
Thanks in advance.
@all: It is going to be a toss between Michelin M45s or Dunlop Geocruisers for both F/R. Suggestions/comparisons/other options required from you all. Help will be very much appreciated.

Please refer to my post 6 months back where I have taken the stock rear tyre to be 3.00 18 for the Unicorn as per the data available to me and suggested 3.25 18 as an upsize.
However, if 100/90 18 is the stock size for 2009 Unicorn, a 4.00 18 M45 would be a perfect fit. So a front and rear M45 could be a good option for you.

the cost of tyre is 1800 rs. the grip is awesome traction is good but never noticed abt fue efficencyl. overall tyre is cool but being heavier affects chain set of u r bike.Last edited by akmaintu; 01-09-2010, 11:10 PM.ARRIVE ALONE
