Stick with the OE size as far as possible, and even more so for the Front.

No offense at all but none of the official dealer sells at the price you have mentioned here . These prices kinda seem reasonable but the dealers charge atleast Rs 400-600 more than you mentioned .
      For eg : Rs 1800+ for M45 3.00 x 18 , Rs 1600+ for 2.75 x 18 for M45 .
The price quoted for 3.00 x 18 is almost the price for 4.00 x 18 as mentioned by you .
Was shocked to hear the prices from them . Looks like every single time we need to complain to you . One of the guys here complained to you about this and got it at the price mentioned here . The same dealer again is over quoting and he is the only official dealer of one big complete area of Mumbai .

So what is the exact procedure ? .
Complain at your ID and then some calls to some person and then get the tyre ? .

Again no offense but this is the scenario out there . Understand you cannot help what the dealer is doing , I am only informing you about the case which not only disappoints possible customers but kinda creates an impression of your brand products being too costly even though you have tried your best to price it reasonably.
Hope is a good thing ,
may be the best of things and
no good thing ever dies .

            Dear Outwardly Maniac,

I do not believe that every Michelin Dealer sells at a higher price. However, some Dealers see Michelins as an oppurtunity to make more mony and take advantage of the huge demand and reputation that Michelins carry. Acme Tyres has been pointed out just a few days back and we are investigating the case. Michelin 2W tyres available through the Michelin Company in India is relatively new. Earlier even Michelin Dealers used to import through the grey route and sell for huge margins to justify their investment.

As we move further, we are refining the Dealers retail our tyres. We carry out random audits with Dealers from time to time and take appropriate action to set examples. Initially it will take more effort to change the habits of the Dealers. But again, from my experience , I know that charging more prices for Michelins is not as widely spread as far as Michelin Dealers are concerned. Only the rotten apples get pointed out, few people praise the good ones.

But all in all, your feedback is taken positively and we continue our endeavour to provide not just a better product, but a better experience as well.

What about Sign tyres ? . Rotten apples are too many to mention and the good ones I have not come across . I understand you are still developing 2w market here and all . I was just talking what I experienced , thats it .

I am not in a state of argument or something with you , hence rest my case .
Hope to receive help from your end if someday I decide to buy michelin again .
