Dude, you maybe running a different bore for your 180, but this comparison won't mean anything. I mean, only sprockets don't affect gearing, there is the bike's gearbox also. So, 38 or 44 at rear won't differ, if internal gearing is opposite ...

Your bike may make more power after power modification, but speed/ rpm doesn't change with power mods. Only sprockets can change them.

For example, P180 UG3 will do 100~ kmph at 8000 rpm only, no matter how good big bores and exhausts I use. Yes, speed/ rpm will change on changing sprocket sizes or the rear tyre size.

I suppose you have a UG2, since in my P180 UG3, some rpm shows 86...

For this, I have a good news. I'm going to change my P180 UG3's front sprocket.

Then, we'll discuss speeds in each k-rpm in 5th gear. And then, I'll suggest "exactly" what size you need...

I'm not sure of this, but you can get it checked. Service Centres always have a lot of old spare parts lying here & there. Atleast, my city's SC sure has ...

^ Dude, P220 has that fatter sprocket with that O-Link Chain ... So, the direct fit sprocket setups suitable are those from ZMA, P200 & P220. All have 14 teeth front sprocket, so that's not considerable for gearing changing...

If you choose P200's rear (38 teeth), you WILL NOT need to change the chain. For one teeth, it can be adjusted. and acceleration will be increased mildly, and you can still touch 125+ on speedo ... Plus mileage won't be affected much.

However, a Karizma's (40 teeth) rear MAY need to change the chain (I'm not sure), with one having 2 more drive-links.

As Praful once said ---> ""The ZMA's 40T rear is a direct fit, you'll get oodles of acceleration if you fit that, but all that at a cost of making the bike even more short geared.""

which means that touching 120 kmph would be tough too. And mileage too will reduce.

Finally, you can choose P200's 38 teeth for small increase, and ZMA's 40 teeth for more acceleration.

I'm totally confused with what U said.
                      U said 220 has 38T.
                      Later U R saying 38T increases Acceleration & then U R saying 38T is of 200.
Finally U concluded with ZMA which is a 40T Acc increases & Drop in TOP end.

Please repost it so that its clear.
U R mentioning the same result for all the options.

Prabhakar, P220 has 37T. P200 has 38T. According to Praful (he has put 38T), there is noticeable difference in acceleration but bike is slightly short geared. What kind of increase are you looking for? You can put 40T but there will be dramatic decrease in bike's top end. Mileage will decrease.

                          Thanks for the clarification!!!!!!

I'm planning to go for a lower profile Rear Rubber.
                          Which makes it Short geared.
Now will be looking to go for a new set up which negates the short gearing effect of the Lower profile tire.
Meaning I want gain back the Lost TOP end due to the short gearing by the lower profile tire.

Any direct fitment Front & rear Sprocket set which will achieve this??
                          I mean making it higher??

Since you are going to put the FZ tire, so this will already make the bike practically short geared already because of low profile than stock at the rear. So I think you should be looking for a sprocket to make it taller geared. Maybe a 36T after market sprocket for the P220.

Personally, if you ask me, I think you should put the tire first, see if there is any noticeable difference. Because, two owners already have put the tire, and they have said there is very less noticeable difference in top and acceleration and handling have improved alot. Just check it out first. If you are not satisfied then you could look for a less than 37T sprocket.

U R right the difference is very less.
                              HARDLY Noticeable.

As per my calculations on paper it should reduce the profile of the Bike only by 6-7 mm against the full 12mm due to slimmer alloy of P220.
this translates to a marginal drop of Top end - Read 4KMPH at most.
But I don't think we have any 36T Rear Avail for the 220.
I may need to get it fabricated.

As you said, this would be only necessary if you feel you don't like the current set up.

BTW, Aftermarket sprockets are also available. They are just not looked into, so we don't know much about them.
